Mountford Wines and Tangletoe Cidery

Visited this Cidery / winery over the weekend. The setting is lovely, and the staff are nice. Even the tasting rack with nibbles ($15) is a nice touch (although overpriced for 4 tastings).Quite frankly, I thought the wines and cider were awful. The only wine I thought was even remotely acceptable was the Merlot. The deal is you pay $15 for the tasting rack and you get that off if you buy anything, so my wife decided to get the Sav Blanc. The wine we opened was undrinkable and was poured out ($26). I dont believe it was the same wine we tried at the winery.Unfortunately, my recommendation would be to avoid this place like the plague.

Beautiful place! We loved it here and the couple who own it are so kind, answered every question we had and were very knowledgeable. Their dog was very sweet too!

ABSOLUTE TRASH!!! AVOID AT ALL COST RIP OFF!!!-$15 for paddle of 4x 10ml tasters.-Price of tasters taken off purchases over $20, which are priced to ensure you signifigantly exceed this mark.- All ciders are undrinkable (actually enquired if there was something wrong with their dishwasher as they all tasted soapy).-There is potential with a nice view, however the grounds are overgrown and we were constantly in fear of snakes. Also the seating and tables were uncomfortable.- The cheese and olives provided are store bought and small portioned.- The staff were nice enough, when confronted with our objections they seemed accepting, which is why we concluded they were well aware they are overcharging for a trash product.- After reading the positive reviews on this place we felt the need to balace these obviously biased reviews with our experience.

Amazing venue in a beautiful setting. Great welcome and presentation of the produce. Wide range of drinks to choose from for the paddle board tasting experience. Highlights for us were the unique tasting Chardonnay the smooth Sauvignon Blanc and the yummy Scrumpy Cider. Served with tasters of cheese and olives. Exceptional winery !

Great vinyard experience, lovely organic wines and ciders, with a beautiful cellar door and friendly owners. There is an art gallery upstairs also

Gorgeous organic winery and cidery, with all the ingredients grown on the property and produced on site. The service was warm and welcoming, and the art gallery had some amazing pieces.The wine is incredible and very well priced. But the cider is out of this world delicious. Highly recommend the detour if you’re heading down South West Highway.

What a relaxing, stunning and charming place! My husband and I found this gem on our recent trip to Pemberton and we had to go back for a second time we enjoyed it so much. They make the most mouthwatering ciders, merlot and Pinot noir, with tasty local produce to try with the sample paddle boards.The building is also an experience - full of charcter and history, sculptured by hand by the owners and crafted from materials sourced onsite. Andrew and Sue are friendly and welcoming with lots of local knowledge. We highly recommend. :-)

What an interesting winery and cidery! Friendly service, and good selection of wines, ciders and liquers. For $10 per person, you get 4 tasters and cheese and olives. We ended up buying the cider liquer and the truffle liquer, wow! We also bought cheese and olives, they are locally sourced and tasted great! The gallery upstairs had us talking about buying a picture, and the views and fire place just made this place really quaint and homey. Thank you!
