Ordered the cheeseburger for lunch, was delicious. Was clear effort had been put into making the burger, all ingredients fresh. Recommend to anyone passing through the area.

Absolutely fantastic, best food in Lithgow. Very friendly staff. A must if you're in town.P.s. there is another dennis just down the street, make sure it's old dennis seafood at 49 main st.

Stopped here for a late lunch as we were passing through to head home to Penrith, had traveled from Dubbo. It was a lovely older Greek couple which they were lovely and chatty. My boyfriend and I had ordered seafood sticks, meat dim sims and 6 scallops. The prices are reasonable and the food was nice. The seafood sticks and scallops were lightly battered which that’s how we like them. Also the potato in the scallops where not thick and they were a good size. We were given an extra scallop and some chips too which we didn’t mind that, the chips were soft but with a crunch on the outside. I will say it was a little oily but in saying that the oil tastes nice and still able to eat it. We will definitely go back instead of going to McDonalds.

As good as we rememberedWe had such a wonderful time in the Blue Mountains back in December, we were keen to get back. This time we are in the area for two months - which you would think would be exciting enough - but what really excites us is the opportunity to visit this superb chippery once more.Old Dennis has not disappointed us. We were wondering if it really was as good as we remembered - and it was. The product is cooked to perfection, huge portions, crispy, and amazing value for a two fish meal for $15 - the two potato scallops, (actual potato slices) were just a bonus.We will definitely be back, making it a once a week sojourn. (We visited one Wednesday when he was closed - and tried the competitor just a few doors down. Not bad. Just not great. Wouldn’t go back there however).

Fantastic food and brilliant value for money. Had the fish cocktails pack and the cocktails were the size of a small fillet. Couldn't eat it all
