Great work on a difficult set of stairs in a Newtown Terrace. Greg measured the space and came up with a solution which was perfect and Ben cut and fitted the stairs. Both Greg and Ben were absolute gentleman, trustworthy and smart and between the two of them we got the perfect set of stairs. Would not hesitate to recommend this company and ask for Greg and Ben. Andrew Skinner from Rossmore Stairs has been very helpful and professional. He was prompt to arrive at our first meeting regarding the staircase I needed at my renovation and he had lots of great ideas to guide me in choosing the style, balustrade and type of timber for the stairs. Andrew has also responded to all my calls and emails and he has been very patient with all my queries about staircases. I have been most pleased with the service he has provided me.

Made our stair case which was a little tricky as we wanted to use the space underneath as an extension of our laundry this was done perfectly with great head height, it was install by Ben and he worked in well with other trades on site. We are very pleased and would highly recommend them to anyone wanting a custom stair case.

I attempted to contact Rossmore Carpentey on a number of occasions. Twice through the enquiry section on the website, when I did not receive a response to my second enquiry I called and was asked to send an email. This was done and I received a prompt reply asking for photos of the stairs, these were sent and when I did not receive a reply yet again I sent a follow up email to which I am still waiting a reply, going on over a month later and counting.This business came highly recommended by another builder in the area however the lack of communication and customer service has left me wondering why.

We tried four stair companies. Rossmore won on so many points. Their price for hardwood was extremely competitive. But their attention to detail was unparalleled. We had a very difficult situation in that the stairs (2 sets) had to fit between a walkway and a kitchen and we have high ceilings so the stairs are big. Our initial drawing was incorrect and left us losing part of our kitchen. Rob and his team worked with our architect to give us a result that is not only functional but beautiful as well. When we wanted to match the posts with the ones in our balcony that wasn’t a problem and has been done perfectly. The installers were incredibly fast and efficient and had the two sets in in one day. They were very clear on what preparation was necessary so our carpenter could have everything in place. The quality of the materials used is outstanding too. Have worked with a lot of timber and the quality of the timber they use is very high. Which is vital in a set of stairs. It was a long and difficult journey given the situation and to come out with the result we have is impressive. Would recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality at a very reasonable price.
