Update: Still to this day, they have not answered a single email despite the facade response below for me to contact them. I have contacted them 10 times since that response and have not received any communication,I have not received a construction update since early November.Email after email has gone unanswered and no progress on the home.Starting to get worried.

it is such a shame that you invest a substantial amount of money for a company to build your dream home, to get average home that has major defect at best. We were never allow to inspect the property through the build and had so many mistakes that would of been an easy fix on an inspection. As soon as they got your money the excuses started, the industry at the moment"

From my very first encounter with Chatham Homes, I knew I was in good hands. The quality of the Deanside show home had me impressed as well as my sales experience. I found that all my queries were promptly answered, with Matt the New Homes Consultant going above and beyond for me. He was honest and transparent throughout our dealings, which ensured me that I had made the right choice.The Admin/Estimating/Drafting team all came together and worked hard to keep a very demanding and particular person happy - no request of mine was ever too hard.Now in construction, even with all the material and trade delays the industry is facing, I am still just as happy as the first time I walked into the show home. My Site Manager Matt is truly amazing. Keeping me in the loop, so I know exactly what is happening and when, he prepares me for any delays I may face and also doesn't hesitate to contact me when things don't go as planned.It's a scary time to be building right now, with lots of uncertainty and negativity coming from the media. Although in my experience it has been the complete opposite. I will always speak highly of the Chatham Homes team to everyone I know, as building shouldn't be a stressful time.I have enjoyed every minute of the journey even during these unprecedented times. I cannot wait for handover to come and to be able to celebrate all the hard work that the team put in to make my dream a reality!!

One star for build .Half a star for quality .Zero stars for communication and response .Worst builder I've ever had to deal with .This company is being run poorly and very unprofessionally,Very very unprofessionally.Been in this home for 18 months still can't get anything fixed.We have structual cracks and damage all through the house, lifting floors, architraves bowing, paint defects, water damaged window panels due to leakage, found split orings in kitchen sink pipes consistent waterleaking , lights were faulty in rangehood.All off which they won't take responsibility for they take your money then they are done with you.WORST EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIFES** WARNING ⚠️ Do not build through this company trust me and all of the other bad reviews .YOU'LL REGRET IT

We built back in 2021. The experience we have had with with Chatham home has been terrible and so unprofessional.A leak from the mixer tap not being tightened under the laundry sink. When the sight manager came out to check tried to do the dodgy and tighten it then try blame on us that it was the washing machine valve that was leaking.Also had a leak that came from the pipe underneath the kitchen sink that took 3 plumbers the 3rd working out it was an o ring that was put in on an angle. They both have caused our flooring to lift in different parts of the home.They are not taking responsibility for this at all and are blaming it on us.I have photos and evidence of all of this and also had an insurance company come in and also assess the damage proving that both leaks caused the damage.A damaged gutter was put on the home and still hasn’t been replaced.The home isn’t even 2 years old and cracks have appeared structural everywhere within the house.Dealing with the sight Manager and the way he has spoken and be little me has caused me so much anxiety and stress.Our latest in counter was with director of the company that has taken responsibility for the structure damage and their insurance to cover but still won’t take responsibility for the flooring damageThis turned into an argument with my husband and him.Showing how unprofessional and childish he was to deal with as he was walking out the door he said that he won’t fix anything including the structural damage.

Initial experience was good but over time responsiveness has been poor. We were promised weekly updates which were never provided. Significant delays to the project. House is still incomplete with no completion date being provided despite asking multiple times.

Very unprofessionalFinally I had to post it up here.Below is my latest email to their maintenance team regarding 3 months maintenance repairs and guess what the house was handed over in July 2021. I have called them at least 30 times this year and sent 50 emails and they still have no answers.Here I am again requesting you for an update on the maintenance repairs on my property.I know you have told me at least 10 times that I will hear back from your handyman but it never happens.It is embarrassing for me to keep on asking the tenants for the property access and cancel it every time.I know it's not your fault but someone needs to take the responsibility for this given it is getting ridiculous now.This was meant to be 3 months maintenance not 2 years and some of these items were meant to be fixed within the 15 days of handover.This is very unprofessional and Chatham homes has tested my patience to it's extreme limits and I am getting sick of this.

We are currently a few weeks away from a completed build and couldn't be happier with our experience so far.Considering the delays in the industry right now, we have found Chatham amazing in navigating these - if all remains on track our build will have gone from site start to complete in 5 months.Chatham were the only builder who listened to what we wanted right from the sales stage, and any questions or issues have been addressed and rectified so quickly as they have come up.Can't wait to see our finished build in a few weeks time!
