Jacksons Lookout
Lookout was okay - views were nice, and only worth a visit if in the area however.Quite a few steps to the top of the lookout, and worth spending 5 minutes if it's on the way.

Access via short steep gravel road with large washouts from Back Hepburn Road. Small sign at entrance advising that track is only suitable for 4WD vehicles. Lookout consists of metal tower, but view largely blocked by trees. Didn't even bother to take any photos...would not recommend this sight at all!

The view is okay, but the sky is Marvellous at night as little light pollution. can see the galaxy.

Jacksons Lookout
We parked at Bath house and walked to the Jackson's lookout. It was a good 15 mins walk through the woods to the Jackson's.However, the lookout itself has nothing to offer. Its a big structure made of metal that you can climb. The views from top are restricted by overgrown trees around it.There are no toilets around.

A nice decent walk (steep, narrow and rocky in parts) from the Hepburn Springs carpark but I didn't feel the view was anything to write home about. Much of the panorama is obscured by trees growing around the lookout.Good exercise if nothing else!

The view from the top is not really great.. There's a huge tree next to it which probably obscured one side of the view.. I'm not sure why they build it there in the first place..

Pop up there if it's not out of the way and you have time but don't make a special pilgrimage. The trees blocked most of the view.

Road to drive up to the lookout is short (a big plus). The road is also very bumpy so you are knackered unless you have a powerful SUV.The lookout would be tremendous if there weren’t so many trees directly around the viewing platform.Nothing you can do about nature, but the main talking point between people at the platform is how bad the drive up damaged their cars.Wouldn’t bother, unless you fancy a nervous laugh about car durability.

Trees have grown up to make this lookout relatively cramped and too short to be useful. Needs more elevation to be interesting.
