Used to come here when they opened in the 90s. Since I've moved away from the west I still come back every now and then just for the chips and gravy!! . EASILY the king. All hail the Chicken King chips and gravy!!!

I went to get food here and asked for something off menu. It's fair that they didn't have it but what they said made me leave without ordering. Apparently all of their chicken and gravy rolls are made up ahead of time. Yuck!

A local standout, everything on the menu is fantastic. The mushrooms even make a solid option for vegetarians.Plus there's some dark magic with the gravy that makes it unique, and impossible to resist.

I had the two pieces with chips ($6.50 on Monday and Tuesday). The chips and chicken are cooked fresh, the chips are flavourful with a good helping of chicken salt - and they are also crunchy.One good thing as well is that they give you a plastic bag so you don’t carry around the container. The staff are friendly and service is really good.

The two piece and chips have been my favourite for years. Pretty sure the owner saw my grow up since I’ve been coming here since high school. The chicken salt is so good can’t find it tasting like this anywhere else. The gravy and the chicken as so good and even the nuggets too.

Sure, their chicken exceeds expectations, but the gravy is out of this world, beyond belief it is the greatest gravy recipe in the world. The only complaint I have is that I can’t make their gravy at home, so that’s 5 stars.

One of the best in Blacktown. Been going here for over 20 years and the quality hasn’t dropped. Always cooked to perfection and love it all. If you like a kick to it you can get spicy chicken. My favourite is 2 piece meal (spicy chicken) with gravy and garlic sauce.Definitely a King. Plenty parking available. Highly recommended.

Standards have dropped. Back in the 90's they had the best chicken, better than KFC and friendly service. We ordered dinner there and every question we asked was a rude No". We waited at least 30 minutes for the chicken to be ready. When we got home the chicken was dry and not as juicy as I remember from back in the day plus their gravy tasted a bit sour."

If you haven’t had the chip and gravy here, you haven’t lived!!! BEST OF ANYWHERE!!The gravy is next level awesome and so is the salt they use on the chips
