I had afternoon tea here with my stepfather; we each had two scones (about $13 each), tea for two and he also had a slice of New York cheesecake. We found the service a little poor - we were seen to initially but after asking for them to come back in a minute found (for a not-too-busy day) that we had to go up to the counter to order.The scones were delicious, and the tea was good, but my stepfather found the cheesecake unexceptional. It was steeply priced for what it was, but the scones were brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Really great atmosphere and service and the food was beautifully presented. We expected flavoursome dishes from the Asian inspired menu but unfortunately the meals were quite mild and tame, catering for a western palate. Good quality wine selection.

We love Woods! We stumbled upon Woods about 8 years ago when a place we thought we wanted to go to up the road didn't have the atmosphere or menu that we liked. We couldn't have been more pleased or impressed by the beautiful meals we were served at Woods and I still remember to this day the amazing heirloom carrots!! We love to go there for special occasions like when we stay in the Dandenong's for our birthdays and engagement ... and some times - just because! :-). The chef takes great pride in all that she does and the wait staff are always lovely and attentive - consistently, year after year. We highly recommend giving. Woods a try if you would like a delicious meal in a lovely setting.

Woods is the little Gem of the Dandenong Ranges, such a warm & pleasant environment for an end of the week gourmet meal with the love of my life.If you haven't been there we can recommend you try it.It's Maggie Bear's in the Adelaide Hills & Woods of Sherbrooke here in Melbourne's Dandenong Range's, we loved it!!

Our standard cafe to refuel after a trail run in Sherbrooke Forest. Super friendly staff and amazing coffee that will warm you up after the run. The scones they have there are from another world - so delicious and always a treat.

Quiet a nice setting. We were giving two different menus (almost the same with slight differences in options and price) which was a little confusing. I ordered the corn and zucchini fritters for lunch - we had just been on a 3 hour hike and were very hungry. Food took a long time to come. When the meals came out I was sooo disappointed- there was one measly fritter on my plate. Don’t get me wrong - it was delicious - but for $22 dollars I would expect about three times as much food (it was like it was an entree). My friends and I left still feeling hungry. Would not go back.

What a lovely place to while away a couple of hours over lunch. Food was excellent. Asian influenced and the presentation was exquisite. Staff were friendly and decor and wood burner set off the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Great spot on my favorite road in the hills. Went there for Sunday lunch, though it wasn't crazy busy, it should have been as the food was great. I don't know if this is technically correct or not but i can describe the food as Asian inspired Australian. My steak salad was beautifully cooked and sliced steak placed on a medium sized stack of Asian flavoured vegetables. Certainly wasn't what I was expecting when I looked at the menu, but I was completely stratified.It was a much better dining experience than the over hyped Burnham Beeches.Finished with a sticky date posting that was just excellent. Super easy to organise our wedding here. Really cost effective and such a beautiful venue, food is absolutely amazing! Stayed in one of the cabins here and that was wonderful also, would 100% recommend this place to anyone that’s wants an affordable wedding but doesn’t wanna skip on the atmosphere and food. 10/10!

The venue was a absolutely perfect, all our friends and family were raving. Saying it was the best wedding they had been to in some time. Your service staff, were impeccable. With them both formally introducing themselves to us & incredibly courteous.The owners show pride in their venue, and were happy to accommodate our requests.
