Woolworths Hampton

Seriously Woolies Hampton. Not so long ago you were in the news about the duration the travellator was out of service. It's now out of service again, as is the lift, at the same time. How do you expect customers to get into the store? I spoke to a very disheartened elderly lady in the carpark saying she was going to Coles as she couldn't get upstairs to do her shopping. And whilst I'm here, is there any chance you could provide the deli staff with some basic customer service skills. I feel like I'm annoying them everything I go there. Bring on the opening of the Coles supermarket up the road on Hampton St later this year. Can't come soon enough.

Woolworths in Hampton has a great location, but it is definitely a sub-par store. The stock range is narrow, there is seldom anything new offer, and it feels quite drab and scruffy compared to other stores. The elevator has been out of order for many weeks, and some items seem to be chronically out of stock. Despite being just 200m from home, we often hop in the car and go shopping somewhere else with a better range of items, such as Woolies in Moorabbin or Brigthon, Coles in Sandringham or Aldi in Cheltenham. All of these are much nicer shopping experiences. It's puzzling that Woolworths would have such a poorly managed store in such an affluent area - a missed opportunity and an invitation for a competitor to set up shop nearby.

Ridiculous. Limited stock of products that they do have. Isles always crowded with racks of things that they are putting on the shelves, cannot get a trolley through a lot of isles and when a staff member has to move in order to let you get through some are rude about it. There are only 2 people there that I would even ask a question of as the rest are just too rude and make no secret that they don't care what your enquiry is. I've been going there for over 30 years but will not be going back unless I wanted to be treated like dirt and pay for it (which will never happen). Escalator has been broken for over 6 weeks AGAIN and they have shut down the elevator and place items in front of it so it cannot be used so the elderly or injured are obviously unable to use the carpark or the store. Prices go up by approx 80cents per item weekly and I found out that, yes, individual Woolworths stores can place their own pricing which varies from another store however only within a certain percentage. It's well worth checking your receipt as the prices on the barcode increase before the pricing tags on the shelf in a lot of occasions - ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECIEPT WHEN YOU USE THIS WOOLIES !!

I have a disability that affects my walking. The lift has been out of order for 3 months. To make this even worse the escalator coming up from the car park has been out of order for over a year. Top it off with a flooded car park! Seriously you have had a lot of time to fix these problems. I expect a response to this review. I have also sent this to head office.

Woolworth Hampton is the worst and most pitiful of all the woolworths I've been to. And I'm not the only one who thinks this way!Dirty in some sections like meat, disorganised, wonder why some items are not in the same sections as others, and there are always items out of stock here and there.So here's how it goes when you go shopping at Woolworth's in Hampton, well you end up having to go to other supermarkets or markets in the area to complete and finalise your shopping list.And here I am addressing the manager and owner of this moronic supermarket. You should take a leaf out of the Woolworths in Brighton and Moorabin, which are much better arranged, clean and have no shortages. Shame on you!

This place is a great location... It just badly needs a update. It's small, it smells in some aisles. It's a outdated Woolworths, we find Woolworths metro in the suburb over has more variety of products and that's a even smaller shop at least it looks better inside then this store.. I feel like it doesn't suit the Hampton vibe with the state it's at now ... Gut the place and Update the store.This place just needs to be renovated to be made bigger or get turned into a big newer metro Woolworths.

Very busy clean store. Very friendly helpful staff. Once you get to know the store items are easy to find.
