Raging Thunder - Tully River Rafting

I recently had an incredible experience with Raging Thunder Rafting on the Tully River and I cannot recommend them enough. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Our guides, Izzy and Kris, were absolutely fantastic and made the experience even more enjoyable with their expertise and humor.The Tully River itself was breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable adventure. The rapids were thrilling but not overwhelming, making it the perfect level of excitement for all experience levels.One thing I highly recommend is purchasing the photos they offer. They are definitely worth the money and provide a great way to relive the amazing memories you made on the river.Overall, I had an amazing time with Raging Thunder Rafting on the Tully River and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure in the beautiful Australian outdoors. My husband and I just had an experience of a lifetime going down the Tully Gorge with Raging Thunder Adventures . The experience was SENSATIONAL!!!The staff were absolute professionals whereby they ensured your total safety while giving you a ride you will never forget! Special Shout out to Darren who was an absolute gentleman and a wealth of knowledge.The view / scenery while going down the river was breathtaking the waterfalls / cliff faces were spectacular and the rapids were thrilling. I felt very safe while pushing all my boundaries.I highly recommend this experience and am sooo glad I DID IT. Thank YouFiona

We had an excellent day out at Tully river. Very comfortable bus journey from Cairns. Dan was our guide and he was highly knowledgeable about the rafting and was lots of fun. Had a great burger for dinner in the evening

Have returned twice to Tully in the last 12 months to white water raft with raging thunder and the experience is by far one of the most incredible, adrenaline filled activities you can do on the east coast of Australia. Highly recommend!! The staff are well trained and knowledgeable, the entire day runs like clock work, execution is 10/10. These guys know what they’re doing. If you’re not sure whether you should do this - take this as a sign and DO IT!! You will not regret it!

This was easily my best day in Australia and I would recommend it to anyone - even if you’re nervous!I was really nervous to do white water rafting and am so glad my friend pushed me to do it with her on the Tully River. Which was stunning!! John our guide was hilarious and made me feel so safe and at ease throughout, I told him I was nervous and he kindly looked out for me especially which made me feel very reassured and I could actually relax and have so much fun. I really got into it quickly and enjoyed the whole experience and would do it again tomorrow! It was so much fun from start to finish. You could tell John was very experienced, and we heard names/stories about all of the rapids, it was nice meeting new people and the team was really good and we were all encouraging each other. There was all the right safety that didn’t strip away any fun for anyone more daring than me. Going down the different rapids was brilliant.Christian was funny on the coach and really good at keeping the energy going. Every one of the staff you spoke to was so lovely and helpful, and coming back to having an evening meal was a really nice touch at the end of a long day. It was clear that the raging thunder crew really cared about giving you a great experience. Totally worth the time and money! My friend who is an adrenaline junky agreed that it was a 10/10 experience.

Such a fun experience! Great guides, so beautiful and nice food as well. Andy was both really professional and funny, so we felt safe and could really enjoy ourselves! The tour is definitely worth the price I would say. There were a lot of different falls, and we got to hear a lot of fun stories about them as well. Also we were quite few people so we got to go a bit longer on the river which was a really nice bonus!

What an amazing experience. Tully river rafting with Raging Thunder is a must thing to do while you are in Cairns. Great team members who ensure you have an awesome and adventurous experience. We had so so so much fun on our tour I cannot begin to recommend this tour because it was actually so fun. Class 3/4 rapids and great guides. We were laughing so hard and had the chance to be so involved and interact with the rapids. Can jump off rocks and swim! I think our guides name was Johnny and he was great!!!
