Bloody brilliant! People are so kind and welcoming whenever we go. The food is absolutely delicious and so so fresh. The home made relishes are to die for.. made by the owners’ mother/grandmother. Genuine cafe. Authentic in all ways. Coffee is scrumptious. Opens super duper early (thus the name), for those that are up and at it hours before I am! Also, it’s just opposite the train station at the top of the mall.⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Genuinely the highlight of my trip to Leura! I'm from down in Sydney and this cafe blew EVERYTHING from down East out of the water. The coffee is balanced and served at the right temp; the bacon egg roll is truly phenomenal and the best my wife has ever had. Try the iced coffee (with ice cream!) if you need a pick-me-up, but otherwise the long black is excellent. 13/10

Friendly and FreshGood coffee, homemade sausage rolls and cakes. Friendly staff with inside or outside seating. Good for breakfast or coffee and cake. Small cafe but has a couple of table for families.Love from your local guide -M❤️Helpful please like or follow me

Nice little place. It was very busy. I had the Minty peas and feta on toasted sourdough. I cannot remember what my friend had, but it was delicious. Would be great if the owners could upload an online Menu so we can see what is available for Takeaway orders. I searched and can't seem to find one.

Stumbled upon this cute cafe looking for some morning refreshments in Leura with our kids. We had lovely coffee, delicious milkshakes, croissants and beautiful homemade cookies. Service was extremely friendly (they were especially sweet with the kids), and efficient. Personally I appreciated the selection of kids books which kept mine occupied and settled. Small step up to inside, no bathroom, COVID safe.

As soon as we walked in we were asked if we wanted a table (the tall guy, owner?! Was fabulous!) & then he moved some things around so we were Instantly seated.I told my husband: I’ve never felt so seen at a cafe before!! The home made pastries (sausage rolls, brownies & custard tarts) are simply delicious & the coffees were strong and hot.A true delight of a cafe with old school charm & service. You can tell people that work here enjoy their job AND ITS APPRECIATED!!!We were visiting from Melbourne & will definitely be back when we’re next in the mountains.Seriously, thanks for a great experience sparrows!!

Yum! Delicious mocha, very creamy. Had the french toast brioche with bacon - bacon was perfect and brioche was very tasty!Also, I appreciate the limited menu, makes it easier to just choose something instead of being overwhelmed with choice - all the options were fantastic.

We stumbled across this gorgeous cafe on a freezing cold morning in Leura and wow, what a gem! The most outstanding, friendly and genuine service from some of the loveliest people, and the most delicious food. Superb coffee to go along with it all, enjoyed in the coziest cafe. We enjoyed it so much we very nearly came back again the next day! To the team at Sparrows Leura - keep it up, you're all doing a superb job! Wish we lived closer so we could visit again! Thanks for being awesome.

Best coffee, Monte Carlo biscuits and food! This cafe was packed but we got our drinks and food very quickly. The staff are very efficient and lovely. I would give this cafe a 100 stars if I could!
