Point Walter Recreation and Conference Centre
I had my first camp here. Great food and clean accommodation was provided. There are many great camping activities available such as a flying fox. The campsite is in a great accessible location surrounded by natural beauty.

The food was so poor , did not cater for vegetarians both evening meals. This was requested on a form provided back to the camp organisers. Very dissatisfied on behalf on my child !

Lovely park. Very popular for weddings. Great view of the river. Toilet block. Kiddies playground and plenty of green lawns to sit on our run around on. Barbecues are nice and clean and well maintained by council.Parking around edge of park. Just a short walk to the river.

Beautiful setting in a beautiful city. Rooms are very clean and organised. The grounds are immaculate and the staff are friendly. Nice place to stay.

Catering was extraordinary poor. Simple menus should be magnificent when cooked with care. Not the case here. Some of our visitors went out for a meal.It was very dissapointing.All buns were dry and tasted old.Worst of all was the offhand disinterested manner of the person in charge. When two persons presented their plates with a long hair, their was no apology or offer of another meal. Quite rude actually.Disappointing first impressions of otherwise pleasant surroundings.

Great location, good amenities BUT catering is not. Dinner was supposed to be a roast. We were served overcooked minute steak with undercooked pumpkin and potatoes. The mixed veggies came from a packet. Not impressed!

I recently stayed here for a week end, the grounds and viewswere beautiful, my dorm was small and dated, the food was muchto be desired, as previous reviews has mentioned, I threw my wholemeal into the bin on Saturday night, as it was inedible, the main cookwas unapproachable, and added no apology, also was very expensivefor what I received, will not stay here again, or will bring my own food, special dietary meals were not adhered too.!! not happy !!!!

Been to a few camps here. Scenic, quiet and serene. Good food catering and activities. Ideal location. Would recommend.
