KING RIVER RAFTING

King River Rafting and Steam Experience was one of our favourite experiences of our recent trip to Tasmania and we had LOTS of great experiences!! My husband and I had never done rafting like this but under the expert tutelage of Ben (Canadian) and the other guides, it was totally fun and informative. A unique way to experience the Tassie wilderness and learn about the lives and hardships of the earliest settlers to survive here. Put it on yr bucket list.

Had a blast. The whole experience was a heap of fun, our guide Deano was incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, his banter made the whole day so much better, keeping us on our toes while also making sure we were completely prepared for what’s to come. Definitely earned himself a beer and a 5 star rating. Would recommend to anyone :)

An experience to remember for sure!We did the Half day rafting and steam train back. Perfect duration.All 3 of our guides were amazing. I must say your safety briefing was perfectly thorough but entertaining at the same time. Very safe experience and good knowledge from all guides about the rafting and even the area knowledge.Don't take your GoPro. We lost ours :( maybe someone will find it some day.Great experience!! Thanks to Ben our Ship Captain we obviously had the best crew & cheer even though Riley and Dean's teams did try there best. :P Hopefully the boss can shout all 3 a beer! Cradle Mtn was good but the Highlight of our trip was the white water rafting. Dean and the team did a great job getting us down the river, train was also great experience with great history. Enjoy the beers Dean for this great review

We had the greatest time, and the best instructor Ollie, the other instructors were Riley, dean and two ben’s. They were all cool and friendly and we felt in safe hands. The rapids were very cool and definitely worth the cold water. Would 100% go again.

I was very hesitant going rafting, with water not being something i’m not too comfortable in. But my partner desperately wanted to go and i have to say this was one of the best water experiences i’ve ever had. We definitely were lucky with the clear skies and water level , and we had an absolute blast with our tour guide (Dean!) who was pleasantly entertaining , fun and ensured myself and others were comfortable and assured us all with humour and wit which helped calm the nerves - Thank you for making it such an enjoyable day !! You deserve that beer dean !!

Had a fantastic day rafting the King River earlier this week with King River Rafting. Organisation and the equipment provided were very good. And the guides were great, making sure we had a safe but REALLY FUN time shooting the rapids and enjoying the river.
