Waterford Boarding Kennel and Cattery

Waterford Boarding Kennels & Cattery is also a breeding kennel for poodles, licenced since 1973 for 75 dogs and unlimited cats. Generally only take cat boarders when book with dog boarders. The previous owners were all breeders of pedigreed show dogs.The boarding kennel block has a triple secured insulated brick kennel located on an acre exercise yard. The kennel block is fully self contained with it's own electricity, hot and cold water, underground sewerage pipes and waste water piped to grease traps and sullage tanks, recycled for watering the grass. All exercises are under supervision.The individual pens are well ventilated, spacious, separated by chain wire, 5 metres long and 1.5 metres wide with 3.5 metres access to the outside concreted run. A steel wire operated door in the wall to excess the outdoor pen. Each pen has a louver window, Each pen house a large bed, a hessian sack over a metal frame, water container and stainless steel bowl for food. Owners of boarders place their dogs in the kennel under supervision. The dogs are exercised twice daily. The kennels are also cleaned and disinfected twice daily. Special needs, if necessary, are attended to as directed.The cattery is a smaller brick building with triple security and located near the residence. Cats have controlled access to the outside run. Again all exercises are under supervision.All dogs and cats boarders must show proof of current vaccinations against parvovirus and influenza or as recommended by their owners attending vets.
