I was very pleased in my experience with Local Cleaning Services. I've used them way back and I just started up again. I like the crew that I have. Local Cleaning Services has also been flexible when it comes to their scheduling. I had to reschedule once and it went fine.

Appointment time was 10:00 am, we had waited for an hour till 11:00, and made multiple calls to ‘Sam’, nobody showed up nor anyone picked up the phone. Luckily, we still have enough time to find another cleaner, I can’t imagine if this is the last day of the rental lease, would panic desperately. It wasa waste of our time and disruption to our move out plan.

So our real estate agent surprised us with a house inspection notice with only 7 days to prepare for it.As I am a nurse working shift work and my partner is working full time also, we decided to get a cleaning service in to help with some cleaning we wouldn't have time to do (ie: clean the oven, kitchen and 1 shower).Our usual cleaners couldn't help us so I decided to book a clean through Local Cleaning Services, especially with a cleaning service that has 4.8 star google reviews.I tried to call them first a couple of times, left a message and no answer or return call. So last Friday (14th May) I decided to book through their online system and it showed they had an available slot the day before our inspection.Today (being Monday 17th May) I got a confirmation message in the morning to let me know the clean had been confirmed for Tuesday (18th May) and everything was all good.I also decided to give them a call again to question my booking. The booking system quoted $169 as it recognised we had a 3 bedroom townhouse. When all I wanted cleaned was the surfaces in the kitchen, the oven and 1 shower (not even the whole bathroom). The booking also stated 3.3hours of cleaning when I felt it wouldn't require that amount of time.I called and left a message. They then texted me this automated message saying they were sorry they couldn't reach the phone and would get back to me as soon as possible. It also asked me to text them as that was easier.So I text them asking about my cleaning service and they stated they would check for me. This was at 12pm at this stage.It got to 4:20pm and I had, again, called them a couple times at this stage, and left a couple voice messages with no answer. So then I text them again stating I had called multiple times throughout the day and I still had no one get back to me.THEN at 4:36pm, WITH LESS THAN 24 HOURS NOTICE, they state they apologies for not getting back to me... but they NOW CANNOT DO MY CLEAN. They wanted to postpone my clean to the day of my house inspection.I obviously wrote back saying that was not going to work as we needed them in the day before our house inspection.I also questioned why I got a confirmation email in the morning, stating our cleaners were confirmed. I also wanted to know why they left it so late in the day to tell us they couldn't do our clean.If we knew earlier we would of tried to find someone else!All I got was 'I can understand your frustration, but we can't do your clean tomorrow. I will try if we can manage but very little chance'.Avoid and conger this cleaning company. Especially if you don't want to be left high and dry the day before you need them.EDIT: As you can see from the owners reply, they are trying to blame covid-19 lockdown, as well as trying to state they offered a reschedule.What they failed to say is they only offered the reschedule the day OF my house inspection which wouldn't of worked. I needed them in before.We were not in a full lockdown at this stage and cleaning services were back to normal. Did not even take accountability for cancelling me with LESS than 24hours notice.If you were not taking new bookings why is your website saying your services are available? Why did your online website allow me to make a booking whilst this is the case? Because this was before our current lockdown and you were taking new bookings. Don't use this current lockdown to make excuses for your mistakes. As you know this happened before lockdown.I don't doubt their cleaning abilities HOWEVER customer service IS part of the job.Customer service should be a priority and you should invest in some office staff if you are struggling to answer the phone.

They were very professional. The workmanship was awesome, and they had really nice follow up, sending us a thank you card in the mail. I had one quick issue, and they came right out and fixed it all up.

What a fantastic company! They did a great job cleaning my home and I was very happy with their work. So happy in fact, I've scheduled monthly cleanings with them. I highly recommend them!

Their service was very professional and efficient, definitely would come back again! Not only were they thorough in their cleaning their team was extra friendly and interactive in what we wanted !

This service is great! Sam’s team was here the last time and cleaned my apartment great! I had to get my apartment cleaned because I had guests coming over in a day and they were so accommodating about it. I would definitely recommend them again.

Local Cleaning Services best in town for good quality of work with good value of money. Kitty and Kaur are our regular house cleaners. They always come on time and look after our house. We always have our weekend free for family, because we don't need to stress about cleaning home on weekend.

They were timely and professional. The apartment was clean and smelled nice when they were finished. We will be using them again when we move out into our new house. They were reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
