They had nice staff and the chips were crunchy and crispy it was my favourite fish and chips I have ever aten!

Ordered takeout on a Saturday night. They ran out of flake so I had to choose an alternative. The fish tasted okay but the chips were heavily seasoned with salt and possibly chicken salt as well. It was too salty for me.

Perfectly fried succulent fish and seafood with just the right amount of seasoning. Goes down really well after a long day on the trails. Very friendly staff too!

Walking around Bright we fancied F&C's and happened upon RokSalt.The service was friendly and warm.Fresh fish including flake and blue grenadier was our choice. It was lightly battered and served with well cooked chips that gave a good crunch. Thank you. Highly recommend +++

Refused to sell individual items, and would not change combos. Waited 5min to be told that. A simple sign would have sufficed, but alas wasted my time. Easier to catch my own fish in the river. Clearly 4 years hasn't changed the food situation in this town...

Turned up after they had closed thinking it was open and instead of turning us away, they served us! Would’ve completely understood if we were turned us away but so polite to serve! :)

Wanted update the menu. Greek Salad was not Greek so much, but still very good. Just needed a bit more dressing. Crumbed fish was very generous, crispy.

Really ordinary potato cakes. They were translucent. When you can see through a potato cake you know the potato has been sliced thinner than shaved ham!Two stars only because the batter was crispy and I love it crispy.This is an update - I wish I had taken a photo of the thinnest potato cakes ever from a place that calls itself gourmet". I'm also changing the review to one star because the only reason the batter was crispy was because they had been overcooked in the first place anyway. They were incredibly bad and because it calls itself a "gourmet" shop
