Mirima Dawang Woorlab-Gerring

This is a highly valuable and seriously under-resourced asset for the Miriwoong people (whose land is centred in Kununurra and extends over the NT border). The hard-working people of the Language centre mostly donate their time to ensure the Miriwoong language does not die out, is accurately recorded, and is taught to all who are interested. They also run the fantastic language nest (teaching children) and language classes which I've been to and greatly enjoy. They have developed an app and printed dictionary and much, much more, but there is still a long way to go.
