Hank’s Bar and Bistro
Front staff were great friendly and quick. But the kitchen staff were useless waited 45 minutes for dessert and ended up walking out with out having it. There was only 5 tables occupied at the time. Last time we were there we spent 66 minutes to have dinner and dessert this time 105 minutes and still no dessert.

Everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. My partner ordered a steak medium, it was med rare. I ordered the pork belly, which was meant to come with apple and walnut slaw and sweet potato fries which I never received. The vege was bland and unseasoned. The green beans had been so over cooked they were grey (just like grandma use to make) and the only redeeming feature of the pork was the crackle. Oh, the plum chilli sauce was delicious!!!!It's a pub but I honestly thought vege would be fresh, not hours old sat in a baymaree.

Go here all the time and I always enjoy the atmosphere. Just a chilled out family friendly vibe with plenty of options during the week for entertainment (live music, quiz nights and kareoke).Bar staff are great, always friendly.... That bearded bar man is hell funny, quick witted and always good for a laugh and friendly banter!

1st time to hanks, seafood platter was amazing. 2nd time to hanks, my steak sandwich was full of salt. Lovely team behind the bar and great atmosphere

The Beef Roast was on offer when my Cuz and I opted for a late Sunday afternoon dinner. While tasty (and was given extra gravy) most pubs would charge $15 at the most for a simple roast. I still rate Hanks Bar and Bistro highly cos the meat was good quality and the bar service friendly and prompt.Company and convo 5 ⭐'s.

Roast dinner $20 ...amazing lunch good portion size and cooked perfectly.Always a great place to come for a sneaky pint and feed.
