Terminus Hotel Forrest
Had a great feed here on our way to apollo bay. The view is great from the deck (pictured) and it really feels like a country pub.Had a classic chicken parmy (8/10) and a chicken schnitty (6/10), would definitely recommend getting the salad instead of veg with things as I've never had anything like it before (in a good way).Definitely would recommend.Cheers

Food was great, service was friendly and staff accommodating to requests. Locals are very friendly and where more then happy to share secret locations within the area.Requires a bit of a face lift, but don't let this deter you.And importantly the beers where cold !

To the most wonderful lady who served me late on a rainy Saturday night: your service, kindness and generosity was out of this world. I truly appreciated it and cannot thank you enough. So glad we stopped by, our night would have been a lot colder for it!! Wonderful service and people, will come back for sure.

Looks like the pub is in a state of decline. An old washed out blackboard at the front of the pub states it is open Wednesday to Sunday from 3.00pm. It in fact didn't open till 5.00pm. I went in and had a beer, the publican seemed disinterested in serving me. He was talking to the locals about walking away from the pub next week. It seems a pity as it was a good country pub a few years ago.

Another great country pub and deserving of your patronage if you are in town or passing through.Ordered Chicken Parmigiana and it came as you would expect from pub like this. Tasty and plenty of food on the plate.

Very disappointed in this place new owners had to wait 2 hours for our meals & it’s only open certain hours which is very disappointing at this time of year they were turning people away from ordering because they were worried about running out of food & staff were quite rude

A hidden gem, literally hidden away off the main road through town, a comfortable unpretentious place that always has friendly locals hanging out and playing pool. I've eaten there a few times and the food is dependably top notch, above the class of run-of-the-mill pub fair, but for humble prices.

:: Great Country Victoria Hospitality :: We rolled in with a bunch of mates and were treated like kings :: We had great chats - and occasional pearls of wisdom - from the locals. Plenty of good natured games of pool with the local silver fox ‘Murph’ (possibly Brendan ...) and pumped a bunch of coins in the well-stocked jukebox - I seem to recall Total Eclipse of the Heart and Sabotage - even the publican supplied along a few rollicking sea shanties :: There was dancing on tables - literally :: One of those rare nights out when you felt like a local and not a city interloper :: Genuine, unpretentious - slightly unhinged - good times :: Thanks fellas!

Not a bad pub (really good Hawaiian parma) however*** meals were taken to wrong tables (no table number given) and orders weren't taken properly. Staff did their job fairly but not overly friendly.Not a bad place for a drink but you'll wait a while (1.5 hours in my case) for your meals.Toilets and sinks all blocked as well and the bathroom smells like strong wet paint.
