Had a lovely Japanese woman squeeze me in for a short back and sides trim. Perfect service, fast, chatty and cheap too ($38). Would recommend for a lovely experience !

Forever my favourite salon! I’ve been so to many in Melbourne as I move around, but I always come back to Roi.The team there are so supportive and work together to get the best result. I feel like they are able to read my mind, and I always get the most wonderful result. I am such an anxious little introvert too, but I LOVE coming here!They make you feel welcome, comfortable, and create a judgement-free zone (trust me, I’ve come in with a few at home jobs that totally warranted some judgement haha).

I was served by a Belgian girl. She had blonde highlights and I said to her that my hair is very sensitive for blond bleaching so she should be careful. She said that she completely understands as she has the same thing.I did not notice straight away but couple of months of blonde bleaching by her I noticed that my hair was damaged during this procedure at the back. I saw that some hair broke straight away but as I thought that It was just a bit I did. It say anything. The person to notice was my boyfriend, as I met him after my traveling in Australia. Because some hair was longer and some was very short.I see the difference now because broken hair starts to grow back. I am very mad that the hairdresser did not say anything at the moment when she bleached my hair and saw it breaking. Normally they should offer some hair products for it or AT LEAST apologise.I strongly don’t advise this place for hair color, as on my experience you might just loose some hair.

Definitely recommend getting your hair cut at Roi! Marine was lovely and helped me change my hair massively, and was an amazing chat as well! Jess was lovely as well. Will be returning.

I was visit Melbourne from Lismore NSW, near ballina den Byron Bay, and needed to pamper myself and decided last minute Ute to have a shampoo and blow dry. The lovely girl I saw booked me into her last spot of the day and gave me an amazing shampoo and conditioner, and did the best blow dry I’ve had from a salon I knew nothing about. Whilst tiny in shop size, they were big on service, style and I had a wonderful time with my stylist. I recommend if you need anything whilst in Melbourne and you are around Melbourne Central, look them up. I am bad with names but I had a wonderful young lady who has moved here from Belgium. She was delightful. Give them a go. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for making me feel a million dollars and that was Thursday 05/05/2022 and I haven’t had to wash or style it since. It’s lasted so long.

Been coming here for several years and service has always been consistent and super friendly.The ability to walk-in last minute before a meeting or event is super convenient.Also very LGBTIQ+ friendly and have always felt safe here as a transgender woman.
