Veterans Memorial Park
This is a really nice park. It has a lot of open grass areas that are devide up into sections by a path. There are a few shelters long the path that provides a bit of shade for more the middle of the park area, but the main focus of the park is the memorials. There is an old tank and cannon that sit on the north west side of the park with concrete memorial as their main focus.

Nice park for the dog and i was impressed with the diversity on the Port Kennedy RSL Wall ... tributes for all theatres of war ... liked the tank and artillery piece. Top skate park. 3 zombies in carpark selling drugs.

I live across the road great place. Skate park, picnic area, memorial, tank and artillery peice, food vans once a month. Shops across the road. Almost the heart of Port Kennedy

Veterans Memorial Park
The new skate park here just opened in August and is amazing. Lots of trails, bowls and ramps, plenty of room and very popular. There is a basketball hoop and half court at one end and an unsealed but large car park at the other, making finding parking easy at most times.Whatever in the park the cannon and tank memorabilia is great to look at and the kids can play on them, there are plenty of gazebos to sit in and a path weaves around the park. There are two great playground for the kids and the greenery is kept very neat and tidy. Also the shops are just over the road, which makes it easy and convenient to get a snack or meal when you feel like it.

Awesome park for kids, large grassed area for running around, different level swing areas for kids, skate bowl for all ages, and friendly kids,teens and adults all use together

Veterans Memorial Park
Big and open. Clean area when there aren't any abandoned cars near the skate park.Great playground area. Plenty of shade.

Veterans Memorial Park
Very good place for kids to learn and play, it has some history and two play gounds, skate park is newly built and kids love it. The free bbq makes this place an ideal picnic spot. Must visit with kids.
