Browns Beach
Always produces a boot-load of Salmon. Better during the winter months, but generally good all year around. However, its not only good for fishing, views from the car park are amazing and wildlife is always up and about.

Brilliant beach with distinctive brown, coarse sand. A sheltered section of calm water between the reef and the beach makes for a safe place to muck around in the shallows. Great spot to go salmon fishing off the edge of the reef if you can cast past the breakers.

Beautiful beach. Some shallows to snorkel in then great fishing further down. A slight steep hill up to the carpark but ok, well worth it.

We do our winter camp every year!! great place, sheltered by sand dunes. no fresh water but there is a fire water that is a bit salty good for washing. toilets are ok. no shower

Beautiful secluded beach on the south west coast of York Peninsula. Beautiful clear water, protected by a read. Ideal for families as reef protect from sharks. You’ll see stingrays in the lagoon but don’t worry, they don’t attack as long as you stay away.
