We pre-advised that there would be about 30 of us for dinner and they reserved the dining room for our group. We ordered individually (that was an ordeal in itself!) and I'd estimate that the last meal came out around 3 hours after the first.The food was reasonable, that's the best I can offer.

We stayed here for business whilst we were in town and it was woeful. If I could give it 0 stars I would. The rooms were filthy, advertised online that they open at 1pm on a Saturday and no staff arrived until 3.55pm. The staff member, lady, was rude and had no care for our business. One of our staff mistakenly left the key in the room and the door locked, upon asking the lady if there was a spare key, her response was “nope. Looks like you have a problem here!” Then once we questioned why there was no master keys or spares for the rooms, her response “there just isn’t. Looks like they’ll be sleeping on the stairs tonight.” It was just a really poor experience. Not good service and she really did not care whether we were there or not. Upon speaking to at least 10 locals, who asked where we were staying, they all had the same interactions with the staff member and didn’t have a nice thing to say about the hotel. Disappointing. Give the staff member some training or simply give her a different job that doesn’t involve face to face customer service. Just horrible

Great food , good prices , lovely salad bar, beautiful old country hotel, ,huge , lots of space even if you have small children , a lounge for them within eyesight of parents
