Valley Park Riding School

We have been coming here for years and overall our experience has not been good. Some instructors are rude and believe this is professional and acceptable customer service . In one case an abrupt ,rude instructor left our daughter in tears, we then decided to leave. After numerous attempts to contact VPRS I was finally able to provide feedback and received an apology. Lessons tend to be repeated for quite a period of time, focus only on technique then plateau when the student reaches a certain level which ends up being an expensive horse ride. Horse riding should be fun! In my opinion VPRS do not make horse riding a fun experience.

We held a kids birthday party here over the weekend and the experience was lovely. It was a great experience, some kids hesitant at first with an independent ride, but by the end, all kids were so confident and smiles everywhere. Thanks! The instructor we had for the day was so good with kids, and so encouraging - and spoke to them in a way they could understand.

I've been riding at Valley Park for a couple of years and the biggest plus for me is their high level of care for the horses. Another big plus is the focus on safety for both horses and humans. The location, facilities and gear are excellent. Lessons with our instructor are rewarding and jam packed with learning, and there is time to brush and tack up beforehand, spending valuable time with one of the lovely school horses and picking up knowledge from the experienced staff. Weekly lessons at Valley Park have improved my skills in focus and resilience. They have been, and still are, a strengthening and enlivening activity at a time in my life when I very much needed one.

I love Valley Park riding school. I returned to riding after a 30 year break and needed confidence and support. I got both. They have wonderful horses and care for them and their riders extremely well. They give the full horse experience. You get to groom, tack up as well as ride. They are constantly upgrading the facilities. I arrive early and usually leave late as l enjoy being with the horses so much. I have been riding there for over two years now.

Valley riding is one of best riding school. My son and I had been a few other riding school in around Melbourne. I found VPRS is very special.Our coaches are very friendly and they take their job very seriously.All of other staff are super friendly too. Specifically with my son, they are always very patiently to teach him how to take care of horses safely before and after rides.I’m very appreciate VPRS that through the lesson they teach him not only riding skills, but also patience, respect and self confidence.

Valley Park is one of the best riding school in Melbourne. I have been to many riding schools around Melbourne, but no places are like this school. I started to ride a horse at this school before the pandemic crisis, and I still keep riding here until I have to leave to my country. Actually, I have been ridden here for almost three years, this place was like my sanctuary, a place where I can get away from any chaos. Excellently, Valley park has offered the best facilities for your lessons, also all horses were nice and well - fit. All staffs and instructors here were the best, they were nice and know everything about the horse. Recommend !!!

I think Valley Park is a wonderful riding school filled with lots of opportunities. I ride there weekly and it is so welcoming it feels like my second home. All of the horses\ponies there are so friendly and calm. I enjoy all of the instructors company and advice. I recommend this riding school to anyone from beginners to masters.

I doing horse riding for the last 10 years, but this schools was the worth experience I ever had.Starting form :No reception area where you can sit indoor and have some drinks or just wait till your lesson startThey gave me horse 10 min late and instead of 30 min , my lesson was 20 min, and 7 min of 20 min - trainer was telling my how my tecnic is not good and I need to have many more private lesson prior I can start canter ( I was doing equestrian for 2 years earlier).I said you to the trainer they provided me witrh the horse 10 min late - I want to have full 30 min on the horse - they told me it is not their problem, because there is another client after me and I have to give the horse back. So rude and unprofessional.Also 15 min grooming and greeting horse prior the lesson I was not given either.I requested a refund of 50% straight after at the office -they told me I need to send them an email.And today i recieved an email - because i shared my opinion in google - they do not feel comfortable to give me money back.. Isn't it my right to tell peopel how i was treated and felt?Dont they have to provide me the time as i paid for?Will never ever come back and would not recommend to anyone - if you want to learn how to ride - please go somewhere else.My friend was having a lesson with another trainer -also very negative experience ( even her horse was not late).money is not the most important, so i am happy for the school to have my money and not giving back but hope my review will help others while they are choosing for a riding school.

We had a wonderful experience at Valley Park. My daughter and her friends had a fabulous party. The staff were all very professional and the riding was very well organised. I highly recommend this school for a very special party experience.
