As I entered the shop, the lady was cleaning at the front. She made me wait until she finished cleaning the section. Then I asked about the two meat pies on display and she did not know which is which. I picked one randomly and it was the worst pie I ever ate in my life. She should have given me a straw to eat it because it was that liquid, it went everywhere at the first bite. It had a vinegary taste and the only bits in it were pickles. The pie was small and pricey. A dreadful experience.

A friend of mine recommend that I call in here on my way through and I'm glad I did. Service was friendly and the Sausage Rolls were seriously the best I've ever had anywhere - amazing! Coffee was great too. Sweet and savoury treats are available. Its well worth calling in when passing through Colac on your travels.

Delicious freshly made salad sandwich, along with a tasty curry pie and a bacon pie, coffee was fresh and hot, just the thing for brunch for two people. Service, very helpful and friendly. Would definitely call back in!

This bakery is legit. Man, I wish I was able to eat more than one pie and one patisserie/cake with a coffee in one setting because I would love to be able to eat seven. Just means I have to keep coming back. Lovely park across the road and nearby shops to walk around and peruse with your smile-filled face after eating.

Ordered three pies- two chunky beef, one bacon. The pies were soft-based to the point of being awkward to eat for fear of them breaking to bits. The lids fell off. The chunky beef pie contained three actual pieces of beef, one of which was almost entirely chewy fat. The rest of the filling was just gravy. The pies were warm, not hot, and despite ordering three pies, I was given two portions of sauce. Judging by the huge eager line in the bakery, I was hopeful I'd found some kind of hidden gem of Colac. Alas it seems it was crowded because the fish shop next door was unexpectedly closed, and parking was easier than the main street. Definitely better pies can be found elsewhere.

Tasty strong coffee served in our keep cups. Just wish you had oat milk!Great prices, we enjoyed a jam donut and veggie roll that was well seasoned (yay!)
