I've only ever come across one rude doctor here and I haven't seen her since. Other than that, this place is great! The nurses and front staff are always so helpful and welcoming. My son just loves them! The doctors I see regularly are very informative and kind :)

I had to book 2 weeks in advance (as per usual) for a 9am Saturday appointment, I needed 1 prescription and a flu shot. I was made to fill out a questionnaire asking exactly what I needed from the doctor prior to the appointment. The doctor did not even turn up for work until 9.07am then I was told they only do flu shots during the week.Just another run of the mill pathetic medical centre in the cairns region...

This was my first appointment with Edmonton Family Medical Centre. I had to wait two weeks to get an appointment. This seems to be the case in most practices now. When I arrived I was told that my designated doctor was away sick today. But they managed to arrange for me to see another doctor. I didn't have to wait nearly as long as when I used to see my regular doctor. Dr Kulshrestha was very friendly and efficient and I thank her for making time to see me.

I visited this practice earlier this afternoon and what a pleasure, has excellent staff, polite, courteous with utmost patient care and well being displayed by all.Dr Johannes administered my first Covid 'jab' which was a pain free experience and I did not feel a thing, a true professional in the true sense of the word. As I was a bit apprehensive prior to having the vacination but his calm, reassuring demeanour made you feel relaxed straight away.I can honestly state this is the best medical centre experience that I have visited in my 15 years of living in the Cairns Region.

Tried to book an appointment today. Was on hold for over 10 minutes before I was told to hold a while longer. No worries, busy times. I then wait another 20 minutes before the call gets hung up. Called again straight away and waited 10 minutes. Nothing. Waste of time. Don't bother booking appointments here.

Been seeing the same doctor here consistently for the last 18 months & have never felt more cared for. Always asks me how my work is going and makes pleasantries as we are making our way to the room for the appointment. Thorough checks to cover all bases whenever I’ve had an issue & looks at other potential reasonings for whatever is going on.The nurses are extremely caring & gentle as well.Wait times are a little bit longer than usual, but I’m happy to wait for good service & see someone else in times of crisis.Reception would be the only negative I have of the whole place, sometimes the staff are a little abrasive, but they’re busy...

I recently had snapped my femur and had a rod inserted, I was advised by the orthopaedic doctor to book an appointment to get my stitches removed and get an evaluation by the doctor to see how things were going and so on. As advised I advised the centre. I rocked up to the reception and was called straight in (winning).I was then met by the person that wrecked my morning the doctor. She was one of the rudest people I have met, after a quick non existent chat and she hardly looked at my leg let alone all the stitches, she honestly appeared out of her game.I advised the pain was high and I still had endonze and another script for them but I didn’t want to take them as I felt they were to strong and she didn’t want to supply any thing but I had to basically battle with her that Panadol isn’t enough but endonze i felt was to much. I basically had to bribe/tell her to get Panadiene forte (winning).I honestly spoke to her for about 20 seconds as she appeared not to care and was time poor even though an half an hour slot was booked.I then had my stitches removed but then one was almost forgot before I left, I looked at the job and said to my partner that I believe another one was left she advised no it’s just blood, I had sharp pain this morning and then this afternoon and then had a good look and another had been fully missed.I don’t blame the nurse as she was kind, polite and funny but the doctor which I will not name should not be in her position and needs to be more up living.I will not name her as I believe that is not right but the clinic will know who she is and action as they fell required.

I waited for 30 minutes, then when I went to administration to ask how much longer the wait will be, they told me I did not actually have an appointment booked in today. Turns out I was booked at the pharmacy next door.So the blonde woman at reception, “checked me in” and told me to take a seat, without actually checking that I had an appointment booked at their clinic today. Very poor practice and no apology when I brought it to their attention

I don't know why this place bothers with 'appointments'. Takes over a week to get one, and if you're lucky enough to get that, it's a MINIMUM 45 minutes (usually over an hour) past your 'appointment' time before you're seen. High turn over of Dr's, so if you find one you like, they're gone within 3 month's. Going elsewhere...had a gut full.

I emailed for an appointment and haven’t had a reply back. I went to the medical center and before it close spoke to a doctor on New Year’s Eve and was told I’d get a call back today, 3 January with no callback I have found that this practice does not, have a good rapport with new clients. I would not recommend them if you are wanting to see a doctor locally. Very poor service
