UNHYGIENIC & POOR SERVICE: Very disappointing experience, when someone is paying with cash they handle the dirty notes and coins (when returning change) with the same gloves they use to pack your fish. One person serving 7 to 8 customers while the guy cutting the fish for packaging or sushi doesn't care at all. I would never shop there again for many reasons and certainly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone either. The large number of negative reviews seems to be totally justified.

Purchased 1.5 prawns here xmas eve $39.99kg. Guy put in $45.99kg changed when I pointed out he had put in wrong price. This was not a simple mistake but a calculated attempt to rip me off. The look he gave the girl at checkout after changing price seemed to be both of them knowing the little attempt to rip me off failed. I wonder how many unsuspecting ppl they managed to get a few extra dollars out of that day. Check your receipts. Or best avoid!!!!

Just bought some fish fillets and prawns yesterday . Quite good experience and a Chinese young lady very willing to share with me how to cook the fish . Will definitely come back again for seafood and coking tips !

I give this place 3 stars, as it can be a hit or miss. The prawns are usually fresh. Lobsters from my experiences are not always fresh and hard to tell as in the shell, they need to quality check the produce shelf life. The oysters are usually fresh, unfortunately the dozen batch today weren't all fresh. Some were off giving off a bad smell and tastes bad, some were sitting/soaked in water/juice. What a waste of money and ruin my meal, my recommendation is if you can, do the visual/smell test before purchase.

Went here today as I wanted some fresh Prawn Cutlets. The little woman behind the counter was an ignorant little see you next Tuesday. She showed no respect to the product at all she just grabbed the prawns chucked it in the bag it was a bit too much than I asked for so she then chucked the prawns back to the shelf but a couple of the Raw Prawns landed in the cooked Prawns shelf.I pointed this out to the wee cow but she didn't care. I said the Raw Prawns are on top of the cooked Prawns. She was not interested if it was my business I wouldn't have her within a million miles of it. Avoid like the plague people.

The shop is located right next to woolies which makes it convenient.They have a wide variety but all products are priced 7$ to 8$ more than woolies and the quality wasent that great. The staff also have trouble understanding our order and the bill when we ordered twice was different.Ambience is not great, it had water all across its floor which had not been cleaned. Staff kept chatting to each other. Improvements are needed to make this place a great place.Overall a 3 star place but nothing special that would make us return to that place.

If I could give this shop a negative star I would. As a local restaurant that has been going here for seafood for my restaurant for almost 10 years, I have never been so insulted in my life.I have been ordering red spot whiting cleaned with the head on for years. 5kg + on a weekly or fortnightly basis, and they have always complied because it was for restaurant use.Today When ordered, I was told that they will no longer do this for me and after pressing them as to why- they said if they did they would charge me and extra $3 a kg for the trouble. And I agreed- because I need the fish. Though I don’t think it is right to suddenly jump $3 a kg for something you have always done out of the blue- especially during the tough times we are facing. I understand an increase, but this felt very vindictive.Once I arrived to pick them up I again asked why such a big increase and was only treated with rude, arrogant staff who were trying to start a fight with me in the middle of the shop. The owner came out, saw what was going on, and chose to ignore the situation.They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people and for how they treat people.Disgusting behaviour.
