Wow, had been talking about Oliver's - Ferry Park, for ages , it was a damp day and had nothing planned, so it was the day to visit Oliver's Ferry Park.As we entered the gallery we were welcomed by a lovely gentleman who was full of smiles and radiated such joy and the love of art, he was a breath of fresh air. As we walked around admiring all the different styles and creative power that beautiful people have inside and graciously share for like minded art lovers to enjoy.We met the most two amazing men who were hosting the gallery that day, they were exciting to listen to and they had a lot of knowledge for us to breathe in.For all the art lovers out there and even if your not it's an essential place to visit and enjoy, you will not be disappointed.

Oliver's - Ferry Park
Discovered Olivers for the first time today and have been visiting multiple stores on the long drive to Brisbane. This one my favourite. On the river. gorgeous. even lots of frilly neck lizards down from the balcony near the river edge to watch. Are so happy to find this. Healthy food to break up a long road trip. you pay more but its quality and still cheaper than restaurants

Bit expensive for what it is but a good healthy eating alternative while you are on a road trip. My chicken salad was about $13 and was quite small. I would highly recommend this specific Oliver’s because of the lake views! Would have stayed here a little longer to enjoy the scenery if I didn’t have to rush to my destination!

It was my first experience of this somewhat different fastfoods. So all the foods were 'healthy', and unexpectedly tasty. They were not greasy, and have their own features. Good to drop by while road trip.

A lovely little spot to sit off the highway. We sat outside on the covered deck overlooking the river. Great coffee! Lots of gluten free options.Take a wander through the gallery next door for some local arts and crafts.

Riverside cafe just off the highway. Plenty of parking and friendly staff. Coffee okay for a quick stop. Would be nice sitting out on the deck facing the river on a sunny day. Also an art gallery here which we didn't visit.

I thought the coffee was great. Very chocolatey. The sandwiches were ok for prepacked ones in a fridge but had been made for quite a while and it was only just gone midday and both the chicken and salad one and the egg and lettuce were both bland.Friendly efficient service and a lovely place to get out of the car for 30 minutes.

Heading home from a trip down south and stopped for lunch at Oliver's Ferry Park. It is a lovely little gem with a gallery and small restaurant with tables overlooking the river. We both chose a nice salad ($12.95 each) and drink, then enjoyed it at the outdoor (under cover) tables as we watched the river flow. It is a relaxing place to have a break and we're sure to visit it again.

UPDATE: Owner contacted me to see what they could do, so increasing review from 3 to 4 stars. They’re trying, hopefully they’ll work on the coffee quality, and they have other things going for them.My own experience was one-star, but I can tell the place is better than that so I gave it three overall originally.Good: it’s a lovely location. The verandah is a great place to sit and look at the water dragons. And the staff are nice. When this was an independent cafe in years past, that was plenty to make it a regular stop.Bad:1. Oliver’s menu is not my speed, really. “Healthy” fast food chain with sandwiches and their own brand of snacks. If you’re at a petrol station food court it’s probably better than McDonalds. But it's still fast food, and if I'm going that way I'd rather go all in.2. A regular coffee, a small hot chocolate and a packet of chips came to $16. Hipster cafe prices without hipster cafe quality.The soy cappuccino was brown hot water, which we could not finish. The hot chocolate was so bad that my nine-year-old, who is a big fan of hot chocolate, would not drink it. My teenager described it as “technically a hot chocolate”. Even the chips were not good, and have gone uneaten. Have you ever had bad kettle chips that taste like synthetic wood pulp? There you go.So look. Maybe the sandwiches are good – I didn't try them. Other reviews will tell you. Hopefully the coffee and hot chocolate are better now. But my own experience was six bucks for dishwater, not cool.
