Kmart Rockingham

I cannot thank Dylan Carman enough for his patience and willingness to help. I tried to do my best to find and buy a product online to no avail. I have health issues and try to avoid public places as much as possibleDylan went and found the product and organised it for me to collect at a time that I could manage. I really am grateful

WARNING.... Check item before purchase,I got home from my shopping and started unpacking my little" budle of items and noticed the Pestle was missing from my Mortar and Pestle set and naturally living a bit over an hour from the store called up and asked if I'd be able to get a replacement as I have the receipt but sadly I've been told no I can't as I should of checked before purchasing the item

Disgusted in treatment I received by a manager called to the service desk. Someone had dropped a tin of black paint on the floor which I didn't see and stepped in. It squished up and onto my feet and top of my shoes and as it turned out the bottom of my pants. Taking my shoes off (wish I'd left them on now) I went to find an employee. I showed her where the paint was and she told me to go to service to get help to get my shoes and self cleaned up. I was given a bundle of paper towels by the employee off to clean the floor, but soon the bundle was soaked and my hands black. I was also given a trash bag and packet of wet wipes of which I used many, but still couldn't remove the paint from my hands and shoes very well and fearing getting black paint all over my clothes. The young man at the service desk was very helpful and called a manger given I was a mess and so were my shoes. She was very rude and insisted one of my dark coloured shoes looked dirty not painted. My shoes were a dark colour and scrubbed only days before and not yet used. She also stated in front of other customers and not in a quiet manner that my shoes looked cheap and old. They were indeed old and not fancy, because that's not my style or beneficial to my feet, but cheap NO! I had bought them to help with my painful feet conditions, of Morton Neuroma and Plantar faciitis for which it was difficult to find comfortable shoes. She was reluctant to give me any compensation for my situation but in the end agreed to give me a $10 voucher. What an insult, I had several things I wanted to achieve and was at the beginning of it all but instead I had to leave the shopping centre in a rather embarrassing and uncomfortable state. Bare foot, black hands and feet and then had to walk around the footpath barrier near Council Ave on hot and stoney pavement barefooted to get to my car and make the 45 minute drive home. Customer service...far from it. To the everyday workers, thank you for all your assistance, having worked in the industry I know you're importance and input are so underrated and I appreciated your assistance and friendly words. To the manager, I found your attitude very disgusting.

Not sure what's going on in this store, very untidy, seems extremely under staffed and make up section empty. Definitely needs a shape up.

Cheap, clean and lots of things for everyone. Love the little bubbly lady at the front as u walk in. Well stocked all the time. They have a photo center and still do laybys which are features that i love.I am still not a fan of the layout with the checkouts in the middle of the store. I also find the sizing in clothing varies greatly but at the same time u get what u pay for too.

Friendly atmosphere I got everything I needed. Self-serve I always seem they could be more efficient and friendly.Have been shopping again recently and got so much.

It was like Xmas in this store on Saturday, people everywhere. Staff were pleasant and floors clean.We were looking for night wear, for a hospital stay over, we were, very disappointed hardly anything. Sizes weren't there either. Plus no long T shirt...

Normally has everything but runs out of average sizes quickly. Good range of merchandise. Kitchen and electrical all very reasonably priced. Good selection of shoes, clothes etc in men, women's and kids. Toys are priced well and set out in sections, making shopping easier. Baby, toddler section has great range. Wonderful to see cloth nappies and environmentally friendly alternatives for parents. Sport section has some good items. Camping section has excellent selection of items available. Only let down is hardly any staff on checkouts. Self service regularly misses items on sale etc, rather use checkout with human operator.

I love Kmart.But the Rockingham one is often not in good condition:- Stolen stock. this leaves rubbish around the store.- The online site may say there is stock for something, only for myself or the team members not being able to find it.- Products are messy/unfolded/out of place. Especially clothing and beauty products.
