Terrible! Won't honour the advertised price from their website. Claim price is not in Australian dollars when it clearly is and other Australian Dymocks stores prices are the same as the website. Cancelled order and will buy online. Hard to support local businesses when they try and charge twice the advertised price and higher postage rates.

Book stores have always been one of my favourite haunts. In Hobart we are lucky to have several good,and one Great One. Dymocks is not that one.....it satisfies an average persons need for books,many books on the usual subjects. Good service they have always had whether finding a book or paying at the counter.

Terrible customer service! The lady serving my partner and I decided to ignore us and our questions, as she was busy talking to other people being served by a young gentleman beside us! Very rude.Also perhaps atleast try to compete with ebook stores the $30 book we bought was only $17 online. I understand that there are overheads but double the price is a bit ridiculous! Now because of the rude behaviour we encountered. The book will be returned and we will never shop there again .Food for thought #saveyourstore

The staff were so helpful and nice, full of great recommendations. I went in only looking for one book but walked out with 2 at a great price thanks to the help I received with the specials and recommendations. You can really tell that the staff know their books and what people like to read!
