COMPLETELY unreliable delivery process. TERRIBLE customer service: Table bought late ‘21, delivery promised late July ‘22. OK, that’s long but COVID affected so all good…I thought.Delivery date REPEATEDLY moved for bs reasons that basically related to disorganisation on their part (2 site visits not 1, delivery partner had made errors etc etc) from July to early August, late August, early Sept, mid Sept, then we were told it would be early October even though it had been in Australia for weeks until I complained and we got it end Sept, 3 months late and 11 months after purchase.THEN they had the hide to send a debt chasing email less than a week after sending the final invoice!! And I had already paid it!!We donated our previous table to Lismore flood relief. Based on Great Dane’s *promises* we sent that together with a truckload of other things to Lismore in August. We had 2 months without a table, and only token apologies from GD who seem far more interested in 1) making the sale based over-promises re delivery, 2) cost saving by running cheap processes and deliveries then 3) chasing invoices that were immediately and already paid.Draw your own conclusions about what Great Dane is in business for.

Love the furniture, but after ordering a light and the right one wasn’t ordered correctly and we now have an unusable light .My assist chased the Managemnet team for over 10 months and they just continued to fob her off …. So I guess we won’t be using them as a supplier or referring any clients to them.But the silver lining is if you do a google search you can find the homewares and lights much much cheaper online from overseas & locally including the taxes and they can be here in a week or so.Sadly it’s the good staff in store who most are lovely that have to deal with the down fall.

Great Dane is hands down my favourite furniture store. I have bought a few amazing pieces from them over the years that I love seeing in my home every day. The staff are amazing and bend over backwards to make things right. As someone who is very into furnishings, I visit a lot of stores. There are some terrible retailers out there and this company is a stand out in terms of the quality of their furnishings, the integrity of the brand and the service they give their clients. A client for life.
