EQ Cafe has expanded to the northside of town. It’s now possible to get the pastries made in Deakin in Gungahlin. Chocolate croissants are $5 each.

We just popped into EQ in Gungahlin for sunday brunch today.We definitely give it 5 ☆☆☆☆☆!-beautiful & comfortable fitout-attentive & friendly staff-fabulous menu-great pricesA couple of our meals were delayed but before we even really noticed the staff were proactive in telling us, incredibly apologetic & brought out two other dishes free of charge to keep us from getting too hungry.This is definitely our new regular cafe

We went for breakfast on Mothers day and I highly recommend. It was completely full so i expected quite a wait on meals but meals delivered within 10 minutes of ordering and eggs were soft as menu states, bacon cooked perfectly and service was fantastic. Also prices were very reasonable. I cant wait to try the dinner menu next.

Wow wow what an amazing place.The food and the coffee is honestly the best in the area. Well done team love it.Especially the barista who has remembered my coffee order every morning despite how busy it is!

The food was pretty good however the staff need a lot of training. Our waiters struggled to find us a table and talked over each other. After we had something from the bakery our server took our cutlery so when our food arrived we had nothing to eat with. The servers didn’t seem to know what they were doing and placed our food down at the wrong end of the table we were sitting at.

Went to EQ for breakfast as I had observed it to be a new funky looking cafe.We ordered eggs, avocado toast, and a bacon and egg roll. Waitress was friendly.Eggs, toast, were Stone cold, as was the bacon and egg roll with only two people in there at this stage so it’s not like they were . busy.We ate half the meal, and then let the waitress know that the food was cold and the bacon and egg roll with cold and stale She apologised.Manager came out and attempted to offer us a bacon and egg roll in a brown paper bag which we politely declined.We appreciated the offer, however, would not eat here again, based on this experience.

I am a long term daily customer of EQ Cafe Deakin and have always been impressed by the quality of food, coffee and service. My family and I came to this new Gungahlin cafe for dinner and I’m even more impressed . Pizza to die for (kids even said better than my pizza base! It was). Great food, service and decor. Very family friendly but still classy. Highly recommend.

Didn’t want to comment till last minute but unfortunately can’t trust the way they bill and charge you! I specifically asked for the receipt before pay cause I knew they charged extra! We ordered glass of red wine Freddy Nerks Pinot Noir which is $9 in the menu. They charged us $10. Also, they brought 2 glasses by mistake as we ordered only one. The lady charged the other one as well and once I asked for the bill before pay, she apologised that made a mistake! Sorry to say that but this is absolutely breaking the trust of hosting and servicing! Will not ever visit this restaurant again. There is no room for those people trying to rip you off. It is a big shame!
