Otway Junction Motor Inn

Enjoy a simple stay. This is a great little budget motel. Our room was clean, had lovely sheets, doonas and even electric blankets. It is the perfect place to stay prior to an early zip lining session at Otway Fly. 20 min drive. Also eat at the Cafe so yummy. True home cooking! The owner does it all and will a beautifulsmile and happy disposition. The views are superb also!People might have mentioned spider webs and such, well I'm currently sitting in a place double the price a night and they're here aswell!

My son and I ate at the bistro tonight. When we walked in we saw a fire burning in the fireplace, awesome.The lovely lady who greeted us warmly served us promptly. The service was 10 out of 10. So friendly, I'd be a regular if I lived locally.I had the chicken schnitzel meal and garlic bread. My son had the kids nuggets and chips, then ordered more nuggets! He said they were amazing!My meal was served on a large oval plate, the portion was very generous. Schnitzel was cooked to perfection, served with wedges and salad.I loved the garlic bread, thin crispy bread with lots of butter and garlic! Too garlicky for my son, but I loved it!The dining room is casual, nothing special to look at, but don't write this place off based on looks, it's well worth a visit in my opinion.Thank you for a memorable meal!

Friendly and welcoming staff. We had dinner at the Otway Junction Cafe. Tasty local gummy shark and a glass of sauvignon blanc in front of the fire before venturing out to see the glow worms in Melba Gully.

Room was comfortable. Views from the restaurant were amazing, great for a drink on a hot day. The woman running the inn/restaurant was lovely and super welcoming. We had a great stay and would highly recommend.

Simple room, with a great view. Everything was very clean. It was quite cold outside, so I really enjoyed the heated bed sheet! Great if you needed a bed for a night across the street there is a little gas station and shop to have breakfast as well

We only ate in the Bistro.. The dining area is positioned with a lovely view. Food and atmosphere mediocre. I appreciate Covid has made it hard for business people financially. Cobwebs on the outside of the windows and window sills need a good clean. On a positive note beer on tap, cold glasses good wine selection. Staff very friendly. So spruce it up improve the ambiance etc.

Great staff, fantastic view and location, exceptionally clean, nice simple rooms, delicious food etc. We loved it!And about the negative reviews: people shame on you. This woman who runs it is the best. She works really hard and does literally everything in the motel. Yes it would be good to renovate, but that does not make the place less good. It’s a very good basic Motel with the best service.

What potentially could have been a pleasant stay turned out to be a great disappointment due to cold damp and moldy room not first noticed. The bed Squeaked and made it quite awkward for my partner to sleep as I'm a mover. The Slate floor cold, and room squishy. The bistro food was terrible, with mushroom pasta thick and gluggy, the pulled pork not slow cooked and very grissly. No Wifi if you don't have Telstra.

The staff are what makes this place great. The Bistro is a friendly place to gather with great views. The staff made our stay very enjoyable.
