Had the worst fish I have ever tasted. Bland and dry. Came with 2 baby carrots, a coupla cherry tomatoes and a bland sauce. So, so disappointed. Told the waitress when she asked how our meals were and she said sorry about that". Others at my table had beautiful meals

Big prices. Small portions. We got 2 prawns for $28 with a bit sauce and a couple of slices of potato. Another entree was 3 fried sardines w a lemon wedge for $26. Sardines cost $8/kg. That’s about 50c ea. that’s less than $2 to make and they’re selling for $26?! Cmon guys. You didn’t even bone them out! We had 2 entrees, 2 mains, a side and 2 drinks for $200. Left hungry and disappointed and went to maccas. For a town with so much seafood this place is seriously lacking! AVOID.Thanks for your reply Kathryn. Just to clarify, our issue wasn’t the prices (that are clearly noted on the menu) but with the portion sizes. I would suggest noting clearly on the menu that you only get 2 prawns ($28) or 3 sardines ($26). To further clarify, we didn’t share between 4 people as our 3 month old isn’t even on solid food yet. Yes our 1 year old ate a little bit. The fact remains that the portions we were served were very small and the worst value of all the places we went in Yamba. Hope this clears things up for you.

Fabrizio and Catherine the owners (and chef) from the Amalfi Coast were the best hosts. The food created with love from family secret recipes was amazing. The Italian wine also superb. Loved it so much - I returned a few days later to try out more items on the menu.Highly recommended.

Had a lovely dinner last night! The arancini was delicious, my husband got the ragu (not pictured) which just melted in your mouth. It was very busy so make sure you book. The sorbet was velvety smooth.

This was our 3rd visit to this gorgeous restaurant in Yamba and it won’t be our last. The service is outstanding, especially as they were doing two sittings and we never felt rushed. The food, again, was delicious. You can tell that the flavours are well thought out and the produce used is super fresh. We had the Rocket, pear, walnut and Parmesan salad + Spaghetti with seafood in white wine, garlic and chilli + Gnocchi with mozzarella, parmesan, tomato sauce and basil. This price point is on the higher side but definitely worth it for the atmosphere, service and food.

Bertie and I were stuck between 3 and 4 stars, firstly service was on point and very friendly. Entree of fish carpaccio was delicious fresh and would order again. The two specials we ordered, ravioli (wasn’t ravioli can’t remember Italian name for it but very similar) was tasty, the depth of flavour to the sauce was fantastic! But pasta was a little under cooked for my liking. The snapper crispy skin was certainly crispy but fish was maybe, just slightly over cooked ( personal opinion) and beetroot purée could have had more of a flavour kick.

The best food we had in Yamba. Seafood pasta is my favourite and when my plate came out I could smell the Amalfi coast in Italy. Seriously the best seafood pasta I’ve had outside Italy. Apparently the chef is from Amalfi and it’s his grandfathers recipe so it makes sense. Definitely recommend eating here.

A really good dining experience. Friendly, attentive service, good sized serves full of flavour. The chef doing the rounds later in the evening chatting to guests was a lovely touch. The wine prices were on the steep side would be my only criticism.

From the warm welcome of Katherine when we entered to all the staff, the amazing wine, and the awesome food, (especially the beef carpaccio with truffle mayo...perfection), we HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
