Wow! A 'one of a kind' experience!! The Lava Tubes were incredible and the 'Sunset Tour' with thousands of bats flying out of the Tubes was a next level experience!

Very nice lava tubes experience. Spacious caravan lots. Amenities are showing there age. Lovely old restored train carriages in the bar and restaurant area. Staff are great.

Definitely worth a visit. Amazing geological area with very interesting history. The crater rim walk and the lava flows are great. Food's a bit expensive and our meal not great but it's a great atmosphere.

Amazing place, our tour guide, Sonya, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Loved the whole tour. Once we arrived at the reception , we were transported to the start of the caves by a bus. You would need a hat, water bottle and camera. There are no crawling places so no need to worry about getting dirty.

Amazing experience, highly recommended.It's a 2 hour tour, they take you on a mini bus to a couple locations of lava tubes and give amazing explanations of the geology, the region and its climate.

What an amazing place! We stayed in the railway carriages which were set up really well. The dining and reception area was set up with additional railway carriage seating and was really great. We ate dinner here which was really nice. At night a campfire is lit which really adds to the country feeling. Our guide for the Archway tour was very knowledgeable and gave us a really great experience. The lava tubes are amazing and definitely a must do activity.

An amazing place to stay. So much to do and see. Will definitely be back to check it out at another time if year.

Well worth the visit, guide very knowledgeable, unfortunately some were flooded so we could not enjoy the full experience, however that is nature at its best.

A good experience. Well managed caravan park, great tours and attractive restaurant/bar. Road is sealed all the way, so no shake, rattle or roll for caravans.Fuel: bowser on site, petrol and diesel, but suggest fueling at Mt Surprise which has 3 fuel points.Tours: recommend the sunset tour first, then a morning tour to the archway tube next day. Buses take you on the tours, so you can leave your van hitched. Easy 5 minute walk from park to tour pickup point beside information carriage. Guides: they make a big difference. We had Sonya. Her knowledge, skill with inviting and answering questions is exceptional. The natural beauty has a unique voice of it's own that appeals at a deep level to a sense of appreciation for our Australian home.The park: drive through and back in powered sites, as well as unpowered. Shower and toilet bathroom blocks are very functional. Laundry facilities also available.Restaurant: beautiful covered, open setting. Meals are good, but smaller than expected serving size for the price.Opening: usually closed November to January. Suggest booking tours and site/accommodation in advance.

Undara Experience is truly a hidden gem. My recent stay in the beautifully crafted railway carriages with a unique train atmosphere was simply amazing. The dining area and reception were also impressive. The campfire at night created a fantastic intimate atmosphere for socializing and relaxing with friends. The food served at the restaurant was delicious.The Archway tour was fantastic, but the highlight for me was definitely the visit to the breathtaking lava tubes where we witnessed a spectacular sight of the bats flying out. The tour was incredibly informative and provided us with an unforgettable experience. The wildlife and bush walks were also great, making our trip to Undara Experience even more memorable.Undara Experience is a must-visit for people who love nature and are looking for something different. As tickets get sold out quickly, I recommend purchasing them in advance. I had a wonderful time at Undara Experience and hope to come back one day.
