Play Music - Piano Lessons

Our daughter has been learning piano here for two years, since she was 5 and absolutely loving it. Unlike many music schools that pursue a rigid and inflexible approach to learning, here they cultivate a love and appreciation of music. Our tutor tailors the lessons and engenders a partnership coupled with great rapport to achieving milestones. Our daughter loves her piano lessons and even practices without being asked. We've been trying to get our kids into music for a while. They got bored with the classical style lessons so we gave Play Music a try. The environment is much more relaxed and fun, focussing on the music the kids want to play, snd they are having an absolute ball.The teachers are great and come over to us so there's no hassle. Our kids are much more engaged in the music and are advancing at a much faster pace than before. Also found the owners to be super friendly and very professional.I can honestly say I wish this was around when I was a kid. Absolutely recommended for anyone wanting their kids to learn music in a fun way and on their terms.

I used to send my kids to teacher's place every Saturday. Lucky me , I found Play Music. My Kids definitely enjoy piano lesson at home after school.I highly appreciate her continue support and is being my children 's best friend. I recommend child to join annual Gala Piano Concert. Our family are so lucky to have found 'Play Music'. We have met two incredibly professional, knowledgeable, musical, friendly and wonderful teachers who have been visiting our home for 3 years. My daughter was quite young when she started piano at the age of four. Play Music recommended Christina; a kind, patient, fun teacher who has encouraged and inspired my daughter to persist with her playing and practising. My daughter loves Christina and looks forward to each lesson. It is so convenient to have piano lessons in our home... I can hear the gorgeous music as I cook dinner!I have also experienced the most amazing tuition as an adult student as I also started to learn with Play Music 3 years ago. I had always dreamed of learning to play the piano accordion and it's been a great experience to learn a new instrument with my wonderful piano and piano accordion teacher, Paolo.The annual Gala Concerts allow students to experience performing in a supportive and professional environment. The performances in Aged Care Facilities are also a great way to spend a day sharing music with the community. Kat and Josh are great communicators and offer lovely encouragement too.

My kids have learnt so much and and are super enthusiastic to play piano thanks to the guidance of our teacher, Christian. I’ve even started taking lessons myself and would recommend Play Music to anyone looking for music lessons. The team behind it are very helpful with selecting the right teacher for each student and the lessons in your own home are so convenient. Thanks Kat and Josh for another fab year!

Our girls have been taught by Play Music teachers for several years and we have had an excellent experience. First rate teachers who come to your house, well organised systems behind the scenes (invoicing etc) and a fabulous annual concert. Highly recommended!

there is no sign here to find the place, and i cannot hear any piano music which means only few people here

My three children have been with Josh from Play Music for nearly 5 years now and Tuesday is my favourite day of the week! Josh treats my three kids as total individuals and meets there separate needs Totally. My oldest (15) likes to sing and play modern songs and has been going in the direction of cords and song whilst josh still focuses and pushes for reading notes as well.My middle child (12) loves improvising but also is very good in tackling complicated pieces and puts his head down and works hard to impress.My youngest (8) is still learning and needs a lot of encouragement to practice. Josh patiently motivates her and some days she performs are better than others but still Josh gets the best out of her during his classes.Besides being a great teacher Josh is an awesome role model for our children and has a deep and interesting view on life and teaching the children more than Piano only.The concerts that Kath and Josh put together every year are professional, impressive and entertaining and the charitable concerts in the old age homes are a great way to practice performing as well as giving back to our community.I have recommended Play Music to many of our friends and they are so happy with their teachers as well.

This is a very original and cool way to study music. The teachers are great and conduct fun lessons at your home. The students enjoy their lessons and are highly motivated to continue learning, and the concerts that the school puts on are really great.I really like the fun relaxed atmosphere of the lessons and the experience feels very personalised to the student. Perfect for children of all ages, levels and tastes in music.
