Talbot Free Library

After a very welcoming introduction by female volunteer in a previous week, i encountered an extremely rude, intimidating & unpleasant encounter with a male volunteer, who insisted I leave the premises immediately with my assistance dog (a monstrous toy cavoodle!), citing Maryborough library as a dog-free zone....(my dog regularly accompanies me to Ballarat libraries, without question). He failed to provide any information or enquire what I was seeking from the library, let alone a welcome! A very un-country-like and unnecessary attitude from an obvious city re-plant into this small community...very full of his own importance in this small pond! I suggest persons of his ilk complete mandatory customer service training before volunteering at public institutions in our small towns.
