1 star for the fresh roll, minus 4 stars for the soggy gross pork. Never will I eat here again.

Would give negative stars if I could. I came here once when they were Kafu. Returned when it changed to Bun u, under the erroneous assumption that the place had changed hands. No, the arrogant individuals who couldn't get Kafu off the ground changed tacks and continue to glower at any customer they feel is unworthy of their hole in the wall establishment. They sneered at me when they were Kafu. Then I was muttered at under a staff member's breath when their machine wouldn't read the chip in my card and I had to pay cash for our Vietamese. The violence with which my failed receipt was ripped from their eftpos machine gives me concern for the safety of the new, polite lady who made our rolls. Which came with too much pickled carrot. Most discomforted and will not return.

Their Banh mi is one of the best in Geelong (and I’ve tasted many in the area). Absolute value for money, and even if it were priced higher, it’d still beat plenty of others on offer based on the servings, freshness and most importantly, the flavour!Definitely going to spread the word on this place!Well done, Bun u team!

Went there on a Saturday just before they closed. Everything was still super fresh and the bahn mi were delicious.Great service, clean and nice spot.If you want a quick and good bahn mi try this place!

Delicious bbq pork roll, friendly staff and made super delicious even as they were closing. Their topping are yum yum!

Oustanding value for money. For $8.50 I got a very tasty and fresh bbq pork banh mi. The quality of the pork rivals most places that sell roast pork. It wasn't dry and there was plenty of it. I suspected I was in for a treat when I saw how fresh the vegetables were at the prep station and how diligently the chef put it together. The only other thing worth mentioning is that it was quite salty, due to what might have been a generous lashing of Maggi seasoning. So if you're on a low sodium diet maybe watch out. Otherwise, definitely check out Bun U Bakery.

Banh Mi from here is amazing. My mouths watering writing this review remembering the crunch and taste of how fresh it tasted. So fresh and very generously loaded with meat. They actually listen when you ask for a little bit of chilli which is great. Definitely my go to meal when I’m down in Geelong.
