Lorenne Gowen. I have very fond memories of my years at five dock school beginning in 1951. School fetes, folk dancing and the yearly ball. Sport carnivals etc. special school friends.. Margaret, Francis ,Sue, Marilyn, Gaye, Janis to name a few. I have missed any reunions unfortunately but hope to return for a walk down memory lane or Henry st !! I am living in Coffs Harbour.

It was a bad school long ago and it looks like it still is an evil school. Don't believe anything the school tells you or promotes itself with. It's too late for those who were abused there who had their lives ruined.

Five dock public is a five star school as I rated above.The school gave me many great opportunities with leadership and friendship in my final years. I really enjoyed my time at the school, having some of the most fun in my life at the school.I miss five dock public's friendly staff members as I have moved on to high school. Five dock prepared me for high school well and I have found that thanks to the preparation from the school I have had so many great times at high school so far...In the all Five Dock is the best primary school in the world offering many opportunities from leadership to public speaking to music and to sport.Five Dock is an ideal school to enrol your kids into.

Know of multiple ex female students here who were bullied relentlessly and told it was their own fault, and that what they were going through was ‘boys being boys’. They were assaulted and targeted and teased and absolutely nothing was done, although teachers and all the staff knew what was occurring. Please do not send your children here.

Helen O'Grady Drama Academy hire the hall for Drama & Speech classes at Five Dock Public School on Tuesdays from 3:45pm - 5:45pm. The hall is a newly built hall and is equipped with heating and fans.The staff are always very friendly and helpful.The children are a pleasure to teach.

I went to this school for 4 years up to the year 1946, lived on Great Nortth Road,,my memories of the school was the large 'fig tree' in the playground. most happy time of my school life at that time, remembering a Miss Campbell teacher......

Best school ever im in year 6 there and a prefect a lovely school i've ever been too and will never forget the memories i've made with my friends, teachers and my buddies. Five Dock public is a five star school.
