A nice area with picnic tables and a beautiful view except that everything is “out of order” — BBQ and toilets.

Beautiful spot overlooking the reservoir and weir but very ill maintained... no grass at all, bbq not working, rusty swings, etc.

Melton Reservoir Picnic Area
A great little place to take the kids. There is a nice undercover bbq, picnic tables, two sets of swings, a kids play boat and there is also great views of the water. It's also next to the boat ramp and a great little cafe if you fancy a meal and coffee while you're there! There is a main gate to access the site - it is closed at 430pm
