We had a wonderful day at Moreton Island! The island was beautiful and we would happily have spent longer there. The staff were very friendly and the resort provided great facilities but did not take away from the natural surroundings. We enjoyed the quad biking but the highlight of our day was the dolphin feeding.

Ferry over was very nice but no air con and it was very hot. Staff were brilliant. The food at the island was very over priced and definately needs addressing. $36 for sweet and sour pork, no rice. Pools were lovely and beach was clean and lots of grassy areas to sit. Needs more seats around the area for elderly and disabled. We didnt do activities as found them very overpriced also.

Had a fantastic day at Tangalooma. Loved the ferry ride to the island, well on organised a lots of space to move around. Was travelling with my new born and they even had space for the pram. Great beach, pools and lots of food options for a tourist heavy place. Loved our stay and will be going back for a longer stay to explore all the options.

I love going to Tangaloomba, I have been several times and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly and helpful, we always go to fire and stone for an amazing Chinese meal. Yesterday 15 of us went following a wedding at the weekend, it is so beautiful two people decided to stay for 2 nights. I would highly recommend but recommend booking in advance so you are not disappointed if you want to do activities

Day trip to Tangalooma island from Brisbane was lovely. It's an amazing paradise so close to the city. Well worth a day trip or a longer stay, particulalry for families who want lots of either adventurous or nature-based activities.

Very nice place with the weather during Jun2022. Ferry trip was good and not much crowd. Overall experience was good with Dolphine feeding and riding ATV. It's was good experience. The package provided lounge resting area whereby we can shower and clean up after the dolphins feeding or beach swimming.

The boat ride to and from Moreton Island (Tangalooma Island Resort) was smooth sailing so to speak. The price was very reasonable as it included a free drink voucher on the boat and a food voucher ($20 for an adult and $15 for a child) on the island. The Captain and his crew were very friendly and the Captain gave a great commentary along the way. The island is lovely with a great vibe, it felt like we were on holidays. My only disappointment was how busy it was at the shipwrecks. There were way too many boats and jetskis making it very dangerous swimming to the wrecks. I was also surprised that 4WDs were allowed on the beach with some parking very near the water blocking the view for others. I feel with the amount of traffic both in the water and on the beach, it is an accident waiting to happen.

Amazing day! We have learnt from previous day trips to book the early boat to allow more time for activities. Understandably as it was at the busiest time of the year it was not possible to book a tinny so we walked to the wrecks for an amazing experience snorkeling!! We appreciated the presence and involvement of the lifeguards to keep us all safe.Relaxed and delicious late lunch at Beach Cafe followed by our last swim for the day in paradise before boarding the boat back to Brisbane. As usual a day on Tangalooma was not long enough - we didn't want to leave so we are saving up to go back for a 3 night stay. With thanks to the resort for the opportunity to experience the island and resort for a day, and to all the friendly staff and lifeguards who helped make our day amazing!! This includes all staff in all departments from Holt St Wharf, all the boating staff, resort staff, Tanga Tours for equipment hire and beach cafe staff too - T H A N K Y O U ! ! !Please note that Lifeguards are not always on duty at the beach entry to the wrecks if this is important to you we strongly suggest you check with the resort to their availability before you book

Unfortunately the weather wasn't good but we still had the best day ever. The place is absolutely beautiful. The Beach Day Trip is well worth the money we paid. It included a drink on the ferry & a very delicious lunch, the lunch portions were huge. We took our own snorkeling gear & some of us took a walk down to the shipwrecks & snorkelled while others hired kayaks & we kayaked around the wrecks. Kayak hire is cheap too. We can't wait to go back & do the quad bikes & sandboarding. An absolutely lovely day trip.

A day trip to Snorkel the wrecks with extended family. It was a hot summers day and there is a distinct lack of spaces to hide from the unrelenting sun. Take your own. The day lounge experience was lacking the retreat feel it promised. Lockers aren't easy to utilise and aren't big enough for backpacks. You need $2 coins for hire. Food was great on the island, snorkelling was good, wasn't a tour just a float through with little fact sharing. Dolphin feeding wasn't as intimate as expected either 5 lines of people and 3 dolphins. Once done the boat transfer departs so travel back with wet clothes and smelling of fish. Skip the day trip and stay overnight to really enjoy your experience and all the island has to offer.
