The visit was great would be better if times of open and closure were longer as it makes it hard to get things done when people also work the same hours or longer than the department is open.But I am happy I was able to get my needs met.

Surprisingly good. Staff member at both front door and counter were both very friendly and helpful. There is usually a very long wait at Caboolture office but I was lucky enough to go there when it was not so busy.

I have had to deal with Typically pathetic (as only government people can possibly be) She wore a mask and when I sat down I moved the chair for about 5cm further toward the bench, simply because it was too far to reach comfortably and do the writing on it. She started harassing me that I need to move the chair back, because she is a person with special need. Okay, but I asked her what is this? Other chairs are moved much further in. She said I don't care how other chairs are

The department needs to relocate! The site and building aren't big enough to accommodate demand! Either demolish and rebuild a multi-storey facility with ground parking or move!! No brainer. But hey a typical Government department. Stay in a 40 year old building that doesn't accommodate the department to save some cash, but hey increase the cost of vehicle registration and taxes to add to the greed...

The staff are great but this building is so outdated.. and way too small.. they need to have a bigger waiting room and triple the counter staff. The lovely girl that served me today was wonderful and efficient to get me in and out... it's just the waiting for 45min just for a 3 min desk service..

Honestly, man at the door and lady welcoming in so nice, but the woman who dealt with me was the rudest ever. Whole lotta waiting for nothing. NOT ENOUGH PARKING SPACES.Update: raising my review to 3 stars as this time i had a super nice and friendly lady helping me.

Counter staff on counter 5 was so rude to me after I waited 1 1/2 hours, 1/2 was standing in line outside, there was also elderly people standing waiting . I was told I didn’t have the correct forms and this counter staff said she couldn’t complete my registration transfer with my personal plates. I ended up leaving in disgust and travelled down to Strathpine centre where they processed my transfer with no problem in about 1/2 hour. Do not go this this centre.

There is a person at the front desk who provide information regarding transactions and process waiting tickets. She gave me the wrong information. This meant that I had to spend hours online, on the phone and visit their offices for a second time. Long waiting times at the offices themselves.Inresting that they make you stand in lines outside for hours while the inside is only about a third occupied. This seems to be a ploy to not accurately record and reflect the actual waiting times given that transaction tickets are only issued at the door after people have been kept outside and waited very long already.

The staff here are awesome, hence the 3 stars, but the Department of Transport office is WAY too small for the area that it covers. If you are in a hurry, best drive to their Kippa Ring office instead
