Australia Post - Bankstown Post Shop

I’m giving this shop 2 star rating just because of the caucasian old blonde ladyShe is the worst customer service person I’ve ever seen, extremely rude and condescending.Linda and the other 2 persons are top notch and so helpful, especially Linda she is the best. I will change the rating to 5 stars once that bad apple is removed from the shop.

All I wanted to do was pick up a parcel. I had my connote and I greeted the Brown customer service officer and all she asked was for my ID after I gave her the connote.I had sent the parcel to my mums address and she used the address on my ID. I do not know the process and she said that I had not told her that it needed to be my mums address because I provided the connote/tracking number . She did not ask if the package was sent to the address on my ID. She blamed me for not giving her information that she never ask. She kept say phrases like you did not tell me"

This is hands down the worst post office there is in Australia, the lady at the counter refused to certify my passport copy without any reason, she said its under employees discretion " and I even advised her that I have called Australia post prior to coming to the branch and that they have verified this post office does it. I was in a rush so dint bother with the lady since she seemed uneducated about the aust post policy. Went to a different aust post and they did it without any hesitation and was told there is no such policy

Blone staff look like used drug when working, she don’t care everything. Was waiting 30 min to grab my parcel, and they let me back cuz not bring passport even i got my license

Very terrible!!They never deliver your parcel at home..we always get message saying your parcel is at post office where we wait at home to hear bell ring but it never does …!! Australia post must do something to stop this happening …!

I'm giving this post office 5 stars only because of Linda...her service is impeccable! She is friendly and lovely .At certain times queues can be long here, but that is what it is.Overall good.

Been here twice to pick up parcel. It looks like everyone agree that they never heard a bell into their unit and just get notification that delivery failed so have to pick up at Post Office.Not sure if it's their fault though. So far pickup parcel pretty straightforward and staff was helpful as well.

I received a parcel note and it didn’t mention which post office was collection at by the time I contacted auspost and found out it was in RESTWELL ST Post office I went to pickup my parcel and they wouldn’t let me in as it was apparently closed at 5pm the lady worker was rude and not understanding for my situation. Very bad service. Where the customer service gone?

This is a really small post office that's generally packed with a lot of people. It's hard to find a spot to pack and piece together parcels or to deal with large post items and bulk shipping. I usually go here for pickups, but I prefer not to. The waiting times can be long and it feels a little stuffy and crammed inside.Parking is NOT provided at the back, that's staff only parking which is a shame. Staff shouldn't be allowed to park at the back, it's frustrating having no space, or parking in the public car park which isn't safe nor convenient for people with mobility issues. They should allow parking for customers with a limit of 10 minutes.Staff are also not always helpful, nor friendly. I understand the negative reviews on here, they make sense. When I called Australia post to talk about these issues over the phone, they weren't interested at all.
