Excellent service and smooth transition from Calanna .

It was good service, and friendly staff.

This place is a joke, tried charging triple the amount for tablets that I recently got about two weeks prior for half the price. Then when I said something changed it to the correct price. Now another two weeks on so I go there once more to get the same exact tablets and they have added even more on to the cost then last time I was here, refused to pay that so left, They are a rip off and I will never be going back here.

With COVID events, certain consumables are in high community demand. Example: thermometer probe covers. Calanna has a packet of Omron probe covers for $23.99. I even checked, questioned and verified the price with an attendant. I calmly verbalised to him that the price was unacceptable and left. I understand he does not set the price and was just doing his job that's why I'm reviewing.I checked at Three other local pharmacies for the exact same product and prices ranged from $15.99 to $17.99, all currently in stock.Calanna, There's a term for this and it is price gouging". You know what you are doing. It's taking advantage of people in times of need. Make your profit

Usual script $15, Terry White Woree $48.That’s just a rip off, compared with two local Pharmacies $15-16.

They just had a whole bunch of new staff last year. I have to regularly pick-up scripts and I would say their extremely helpful.I'd even go as far to say their up there with the best team in Cairns.

Came in to get a flu vaccination done today. Was very quick and easy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pharmacy assistant was very polite and he helped me with finding some products. Highly recommend!

I will start my review by saying before this I was happy with the staff and service at Calana but after my last experience, I will not be using them again. Firstly, I was given the totally incorrect prescription (for someone with a similar name to mine) Realised when I got home so I called Calana and they seemed more concerned about me returning the incorrect prescription than their mistake! I returned the medication and was given my medication, which I was taking for a week before I realised I had been given the wrong prescription AGAIN. This time it was my prescription (I take 2 similar sounding but totally different thyroid medications) the bottles and size and shape of tablets are very similar which is why it took me a week to realise. I was very concerned because I had been taking a double dose of one medication and none of my other medication which could have had serious consequences. I was not happy with the apology and reassurances I was given. They did not seem very concerned that this had happened to me.
