Star Discount Chemist Maleny have been fantastic in so many ways. Not only do they support local community groups, they also have given me personally fantastic service. They are great when things are going smoothly, but they really go the extra mile to help when things haven't been smooth. I for one am happy they are my local chemist. They have knowledge, a wide variety of stock even in this pandemic, they have helped out with my elderly mother's scripts and it's always a pleasure to interact with the staff. Thanks guys!

I keep my prescriptions at this pharmacy. I have been a regular customer for over 10 years. I recently went into the pharmacy and arranged with them for my life supporting insulin prescription to be filled. When I came to collect it 6 days later, nothing had been done, putting me in a dire situation with no apology or sign of regret for their mistake. I have completely lost confidence in this dispensary.

I just want to say thanks to Chris and the team here. They have always supported my dance school (Heartspace Performing Arts Centre) through sponsorship and other local endeavours. They play an important role for so many families, helping them connect with quality clubs and experiences that otherwise may have been financially out of reach. Not only that, the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and work hard to give great service. Maleny is lucky to have such a quality chemist in town!

I booked for a flu vax but I may as well not have bothered. I wasn't treated any differently to if I hadn't booked and was asked to fill in the medical form that I had already done on line. Since it was busy and looked like a long wait, I didn't stay. I suggest you remove the booking system and simply state what your hours are for vaccination, unless you are going to treat appointments as a priority. Good luck. PS I was also asked to pay but I believe it should be free for my age group.

If I could give a negative rating, I would! I went in store today to fill A script, Just the one. They asked me if I was coming back or waiting in store?" As a person extremely sensitive to sound I choose not to wait in store as there are ALWAYS multiple people talking over each other

Be prepared to stand in a queue focused on lotto tickets. Products due to expire and no attempt to check if there is stock out the back more up to date, and 30% more expensive scripts. Cant see an upside to shopping here.

Do not call out scripts when they're ready.Do not tell you when your script is out of stock, they wait for you to lose your patience and go to a manager and ask.They frequently lose scripts too. Again, standing around waiting for it for 45 mins when told it'll be ready in 15, just to find out they've lost the script and it was never put in the system and you have to wait another 45 for it to be filled.Staff are useless and the only reason I ever have to come here is because they open later than the much better pharmacy.

Could one of the staff look up??? Your air conditioning vents are disgusting and this from a business related to health care. Also went in to buy ear buds, off the counter, the older guy on the lotto wouldn’t take the money, had to wait for the lady down the back. So not like it used to be!!
