Upon arrival the three of us found a newly vacated table for four. As we went towards it, the owner (I assume) with a less than smily welcoming presence met us and firmly asked we do not proceed but to wait to be seated.So we waited and soon after shown to the same table.The food and coffee was brought in a reasonable time frame.The food we ordered was very good and no complaints but compliments here.I also ordered a almond milk hot chocolate.It wasn’t till half way through the hot chocolate I wondered if it was almond milk.The waitress check my order and confirmed I ordered almond milk but didn’t check with the barista. I can confirm it was cows milk!!!!After we had finished our meals my brother asked for the bill and was met by a sour face.It could have been we should have gone to the counter to pay but instead of being advised of that.. the sour response continued.Food was great but that is all and I’ll be sending my dry cleaning bill!

Always great coffee, good food and friendly service. The Rosti Benedict is delicious! One of my favourite places for Breakfast / lunch.

My friends and I had brunch at Claremont cafe. We were sitting in the backyard which was really nice. I ordered Shakshuka served with Halloumi. We all loved our dishes. I also ordered two coffees . It wasn’t burnt at all, and tasted good.The staff were really attentive too.

You haven’t lived if you haven’t tried the shakshuka eggs here. Best food I’ve ever had in my life. Always craving it. Will always keep coming back. Coffee is great too.

This cafe is hands-down the best in Melbourne. The coffee is outstanding, and the staff - particularly Shlomi and Gab - are friendly, welcoming, and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area - you won't regret it!

No question about it, the best coffee and cafe in the area. The whole team are very attentive and really make it special every time you go in there. A mention has to go out to Gabby and Lizzy, 2 superstars! Do the right thing people and visit, you won’t regret it.

Great food, warm welcome, friendly staff and nice owner. We have tested the tasty asian salad from the special menu and the superfood salad with pulled lamb. The last one has a lack of seasoning, but the dishes were good, with a good mix of ingredients and well presented.Menu attached.

Food was good and came out fast. The staff seem very pleasant but at times seemed like they didn't really know what they were doing. Also very small which can't be helped. Other than that a pretty good experience.

Nice cafe near the train station with a fair range of dishes. Be sure to get in early on weekends as kitchen closes early after lunch so the range of food can be limited at that time.They also have evening meals sometimes too with a themed night which are good.Worth going to and will return.
