Yass Railway Museum
Small museum with limited exhibits. Great for families but museum conisuers will find it lacking.I asked the only volunteer I could find at the time about the museum and his knowledge was limited. The only other one was disciplining children on the model ralilway section which was not only awkward but uncomfortable.Perhaps the owner is gaslighting my review so I fleshed it out.

A small railway museum but one I liked as I had to find entrances to trains for myself and involved some climbing. The manager was very friendly and welcoming.

A small friendly railway museum. The museum has 3 well appointed building and a small fleet of original locomotives and carriages. All items on display where able to be explored and climbed on. An excellent afternoon.

It is a good place but they need to restore and clean the museum as it is the facilities are very dirty and full of dust.

Yass Railway Museum
We were pleasantly surprised by the amount there was to see and the freedom to explore so many well-preserved train parts along the tracks. The toy train play area set up for young children is so considerate and that collection was just as impressive as the historical elements, right down to the dated suitcasea on the luggage trolley. The neighbouring bike path for young children extended and completed a fun afternoon after a comfortable drive from Canberra.

Great little railway museum with a selection of steam, diesel locomotives as well as a passenger carriage. There's a fun model railway room and the staff clearly love what they're doing. If you like rail and local history, this place is worth your time.

Great outing for families. Kids love exploring the carriages and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Well worth a visit.

Yass Railway Museum
Yass Railway Museum is the perfect venue to host a kids party in Yass! Lots of space to explore and run around, including plenty of shade on warm days. You can set up a jumping castle, play games on the grass, and check out the historic trains and carriages. Highly recommend it.
