Stony Creek Trestle Bridge
This is an astounding structure which has survived the years relatively unscathed. The size of the supporting beams is eye-opening.The road in is dirt but in good condition, and the far carpark has a toilet and picnic area.

Beautiful piece of history to look at and pictures really don’t show how grand and the large scale it truly is. Obviously you can’t get into the bridge but there’s a perfectly good viewing platform. The car park is gravel and the area has toilets. There are also a couple of picnic tables in the parking area. The maps don’t show the exact location where it is but you just keep following the road for a few more kilometres.

I love seeing all these historic structures, there is something missing now adays. The time, detail and hard work these people would have had to endure to create such a bridge, something so Majestic just looking at it. 15 minutes out of lakes entrance with visible signage on the left. Great lookout at the top of the bridge, though in bad repair you can't walk on it. parking and toilets at site

Stunning bridge with some great photo opportunities. Different bridge viewpoints either side, and some nice walks nearby too. Dogs are allowed on leash, although caution near the top of the railway line and the steep drop. A few parking areas, with the main parking at the bottom of the bridge. Information boards and steps leading up to the top.

Not much turning room if towing a caravan but we enjoyed the short detour off the highway. Easily seen from below or you can climb up some stairs for a different view.

Beautiful place and scenery but the road to the destination a bit rough . Rainy day will be a hard to drive there . It took around 10 -15 minutes drive on gravel road to get there.

Place is amazing. Great paths to walk. Don't try walking up on the bridge though. You go down this easy to drive dirt track to get there, a fun road to drive down in a subaru. Well worth stopping at if in the area

It’s interesting learning the history of the rail trails of Victoria. Beautiful drive, good road through the forest. When you get to this amazing place you feel so peaceful. It’s a good idea to take coffee and cakes and enjoy the fresh air.

The last bit of road is an easy 3k unsealed dirt road, no challenge in our little RWD.Great little stop on an overcast day, you'll see bits of railway bridge a bit like this in other places but this is a good peaceful place to take it all in properly.A bit east of nowa nowa there is a small, much lower, stretch of this type of bridge close enough that you can see if from the road, if you go past and like it you should definitely go check this out.
