Had a group of 27 people staying for one night before heading out to Heron Island. Everyone enjoyed their stay and the dinner they made was delicious. We'll def stay again.

The cutest little spot, super nice staff, just gorgeous. The outdoor area is very well put together for it to feel cosy and welcoming.Be mindful that there are a cat and dog on premise - both absolute sweethearts, but something to be aware of if you have allergies.No air conditioning, so if it's warm at night, you'll feel it. A small personal fan is available attached to the beds, but it doesn't do a great deal to cool you.Overall, would absolutely consider returning x

Beautiful hostel, staff and guests. Amazing to chill and relax in the pool, or watching films on their big TV. You can also take part in the hostels activities like days out to the lake for water activities and pizza night. Cheap drinks at the bar and resident dog and cat! Facilities are clean and rooms are spacious. One of the best hostels I've stayed in, myself and other guests ended up extending our stay twice!

We stayed with two kids before catching a ferry the next morning. Nice stay with great hospitality, basic services and a shared kitchen. The kids loved the pool and the ping pong.

It's a good location if you are heading to Heron Island from the Marina early in the morning. It's a standard backpackers. I booked a private room for pretty cheap - it was a standard dorm room, with two double bunk beds - one with a double bed at the bottom - they just didn't put anyone else in it. The room was clean and the hostel itself was pretty quiet. The tiny fans on the beds were not really cutting it for how humid it was. I didn't eat or drink at the backpackers - I went over the road to the yacht club which was an easy stroll down the road.

Great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, Beautiful place. the only thing I could fault were that some of the beds were a little uncomfortable and caused me some back issues. But other than that, it's a nice place to stay. :)

This place had all the basics that I needed: bed with sheet, pillow, and personal fan; showers and towel; basic kitchen to prepare certain meals, and a nice relaxing atmosphere with staff who are friendly and welcoming. The facilities are clean with plenty of lighting, and they have a very friendly dog and cat!You may want to have a look at the place to see if this is right for you before you book, as this is a hostel and not your typical hotel, but if you are easy and just need a simple bed and bathroom and don't mind open living areas, then this is the perfect place for you!

The staff was incredibly friendly and talkative, and were more than willing to help me with things that weren't even related to the establishment (such as things to see and where to eat). My bed was missing a fan, so the nights were very hot, and sometimes the other residents were a bit loud, but other than that it was great and casual! I'd be happy to stay a few more nights again sometime.
