I thought it was alright. My wife didn't think it was in line with it's 4.8 rating. Chips were so so. No hamburgers. Nice friendly staff and fast service

I had the fish bite ($2.50) and small chips ($2.50), great value. The fish was nice and better than most. The chips were like pub chips, very ordinary and had little or no salt.

Who doesn’t love fish n chips.It’s hard of late to find GOOD fish n chips around town.From a friend they told us to try here- we were not disappointed.The shop was extremely busy but it did not affect the friendliness of the staff or the quality of the food.Yummo- fresh, quantity size is great and quality was delicious.It has restored our faith that you can still get great fish n chips in Ballarat.

Tried for the first time and highly recommend!!! Fresh food, melt in your mouth fish in beautiful crisp batter! Amazing potato cakes & chips, fresh salads on offer too! Fabulous customer service very friendly atmosphere and great prices! Worth every cent! Do yourself a favour and give them a go, you won't regret it!

We’re tourist from Singapore and visited this this place out of nowhere introduce by google map . Great staff , Great chef . I didn’t expect such a tasty world class fish eatery here . The staff introduce us “King George” as their daily specialty and my group enjoyed the fish like a king.

First time since the new owners have taken over. Extremely disappointed. Not freshly battered at all. Dry salt & pepper calamari. Chips cold. Staff members arguing. The older owners would be appalled.

Best fish and chip shop in Australia! I assume we were served by the owner, if so keep doing what your doing, great food and excellent service. Will make this a regular stop for our trips from Adelaide.
