we came here last April 2022, after lots of rain there was a fair few puddles and clay was a bit slippery but ok if you have good traction control. tree is pretty cool, something you’d more likely see in the daintree.

A short drive from Wootton through Myall Lakes National Park and you will come across one of the tallest trees in NSW. Bring some lunch and make use of the picnic tables nestled into the bush. There's toilets available too which is handy.About 75mt from the carpark there is a boardwalk to the viewing platform. The first part of the track is gravel though. If you're in the area it's well worth a visit, especially if you're into bird watching and scenic drives. Lots of information to read too.No photo of the tree as it was way to talk to fit in, no matter what I tried.
